how will staves work in TES4?
will they be non-attack staffs but can have offensive spells in them?
you use them like wands basically? not to hit but to cast?

I also want to see how they are used and such so perhaps can mod them into spears....
what skill are the staves under? or do they require no skill?
I would think enchanting but enchanting is not a skill to be had in TES4

As far as I know staves can only be used for magic purposes this time around, so yup, they would work similar to a wand. And from what I've heard, pretty rare.

So i guess no gandalf style, fry em, then beat them in the head with a stick

I suspect this would be helpful in making new marksman weapons...
