King Hlaalu Helseth has COMPLETELY illegalized SLAVERY in Morrowind.
Vivec and the Nerevarine have dissapeared.
Helseth has Reformed the Grand Council, including ALL Great Houses.
Dres and Hlaalu are on the rise (Hlaalu is not surpising, but Dres is) and Redoran and Indoril are fading (these are not, because they were the most closely associated with the Temple, and with no Temple, they are more wandering).
And, if you wonder, I'm getting all of this info out of the Pocket Guide DIRECTLY- NOT from second hand sources.
What exactly does "reformed the Grand Council" mean? Is that "reconsitituted" or "reformed" as in the Reformation? Is the Grand Council then like a Senate with the leaders of each major House, located in Mournhold/Almalexia?
Does it speak none of the Telvanni? Or are they just in stasis as usual?
the location of the grand council is not stated, but yes, its a "senate" sort of thing (made up of the kleaders of each great house) to advise the king. there is nothing on telvani in curent events.

hmm... which means exactly the trend that has been happening.... Imperial influence knocks out slavery... although Indoril and Redoran were strong Houses they are declining.... and Hlaalu the rising star and the Dres still going strong are now the dominant houses, Telvanni probably stay the same, but are obviously more aggressive now... and the Grand Council (which WAS in Ebonheart) and probably still now represents Dres and Indoril...
about the Nerevarine and VIvec disappearing... does it say anything about where?

Dagoth Ur and two members of the Tribunal, Almalexia and Sotha Sil, were destroyed in the Nerevarine's fury. Vivec too may have been killed, but his fate is currently undetermined. The Nerevarine likewise has vanished.
Durin this time, another legendary figure, Queen Barenziah, also returned to Morrowind. The sudden death of King Llethan, and the subsequent coronation of Barenziah's son Helseth, was the source of much discussion, but as one Nord diplomat famously put it, "The new king is manipulative, ruthless, and calculating. He is exactly what Morrowind needs."
The young king has been somewhat of an enigma, both to outside observers and to his own subjects. One of Helseth's firsk edicts as King seemed particularily designed to dismantle the traditional power structures of the Dunmer. In accordance with the longstanding wishes of the Empire, he outlawed slavery throughout Morrowind. The reaction to this was bloody, as could be predicted, though the alliances formed were far from expected. As Helseth himself put it in a speech to his people, "If there is to be a revolution, it is best done by a King."
Actions such as this have led many to label King Helseth as the latest in the line of Imperial figureheads, though some of his other actions would cast doubt on this pronouncement. Helseth's reformation of the Grand Council, which includes the heads of all the Great Houses, was seen by some as a return to more traditional ways.
The Great Houses themselves, long stagnant, are adjusting to the new powers in the land. Some, like Dres and Hlaalu, appear to be on the rise, embracing the new traditions while welcoming the return of the old. Others, like Indoril and Redoran, seem to be waining, unable to change with the times."
According to other sources (people who post excerts from the strategy guide), it's said the Nerevarine went to Akavir.
I think that someone playing the game also supported the Akavir thing, but said that the info came as hearsay from a Mages' Guild NPC, meaning that it's really just a rumor that could explain his disappearance. My personal belief here is that we should let the Nereverine's fate remain in obscurity so that it can fit into anyone's older story. Vivec's disappearance we should explore, explain, and possibly resolve. (It'd be an interesting idea as our hero would basically be an anti-Nereverine, slaying Daedra in Cyrodiil and helping the survivor of the Tribunal in Morrowind.)
