I was a bit puzzled by that too. It's the kind of thing which might be better off being locked and put in the Lore forum.
There's no 'dead threads' section there yet. It doesn't matter though. It kind of relates to quests.
And we've got the other faction list there for reference anyway. Personally I'm not sure if the Lore forum needs an archive. Although it might be an idea for me to write up the issues which have been agreed upon and sticky them in important threads.
