Please act immediately to save the Internet.

If this continues the internet, its businesses and its community will be destroyed.
Ask yourself; Why is the internet a success?
I remember when I was first introduced to the internet in 1998 as a child. It was hailed as the greatest invention to come to mankind; An educational tool, a social tool, an entertainment tool, a way of communication that was connecting the world.
A place where everyone, no matter how small, had (and has) an equal opinion.

It is unfair to humanity and to your children to take this away from them.

I've heard about it here and there. My understanding is that it has to do with American legislation, right? Guess I'm the clear then. Smile
Politicians need to stop trying to legislate every little bloody thing, spend our tax dollars on doing something worth while I say, like hunting down UBL or fixing the problems at our borders.
I've heard about this alot now. I can't believe they're actually considering getting rid of net neutrality and letting large companies decide whats best. I suggest everyone sign the petitions and send the emails to stop this.

We can right the politicians letters telling them how angry we are  ... and if they don't listen :brew: ... we riot :chaos: :guar:
I used the form on the site linked to by the google article

I think we can win our freedom on the internet, we have tons of big and small organizations, both major politcal groups, religous groups, and the genral population rallying together under one cause
Sadly the form linked from the google letter only work for people in the U.S.

Europe should start its petition before the EU decides to follow suit.

I was thinking, a good way to get people to sign on would be if google put an undisputedly clear sign on their frontpage stating TOS. In the terms of service it says by using a Google service you agree to net nuetrality and are against the legislation. Then if another lgislation come up say in Europe google just change the TOS and put another undisputedly clear sign on the frontpage saying the TOS have changes.

Just a thought Smile

Lol, like Europe would EVER do that! America's crazy, Europe is a bunch of over-talkative idiots, but still they know right from wrong; something America has never known......
Actually the problem is people vote based on commercials, not debates. If we required somebody televise a debate against their competitor(s) to run for office, if would be much different. Sadly most people prefer to just state their stance and not actually debate. If they don't debate, they shouldn't be there in the first place, and are probably numbskulls just looking for a pension.

Edit: Most of the time in debates there is no debating.
