I am sorry to say this, but I can not be on any longer. I guess my parents just found out that I am on a forum, and I can not go on any more because everyone online that you don't know is a rapist and/or a stalker. So I am now giving up all my claims and the leadership of High Rock.

No seriously, you gotta reason with them. What do they think you're doing when you're on the net anyway? Would they prefer if you were visiting porn sites instead?
They are ok with the internet, but not ok with forums because forums = chat room and chat room = bad.
Convince them that a forum isn't a chat room. It's a place for well reasoned discussion governed by a set of strict rules and etiquette, perfect for a growing young inquisitive mind... or something like that.
If you can talk to other people, it is a chat room. Thats pretty much what my parents are saying.

sad to see ya go. the only sugestion i have is to make them see that this all is teaching you comunication skills, stress manegment, cooporation, etc.
