Hello! I'm Lloyd DeVirr, over from Skyrim for Oblivion.

I've written a poem that was originally intended for Skyrim, but it suits better over here, with you blokes.

It's intended as a Khajiit lamenting having to move from Elsweyr, due to uncertain reasons.
I hope you can use it somehow!

~~ Lloyd

"Never more of the Dark time
The Dark thoughts of Uncertainty
Fleeing across the Lake
Mountains and valleys
The ancient, deep jungles
I can never return to childhood
Mothers soft sugar
The neverending desert of green with the warming Sun
The soft and warm wind
The first true Love
The eternal Seas
I can never return
to the summer of my
Childhood"
Thanks for the thought. I can see why you sent it here, and it definitely has positive feel - try reading up on our Lore and stuff if you want to do any more with it ...

This might be by a Seanch ... accross the jungle ...

Will keep this in mind.

a what?

Thats a nice poem DeVirr

I can't do a poem to save my life, but I wrote as skooma addiction summarily;

With the sweet silver on my lips and the skooma blistering in the bowl.
mind infatuated with spice never care for the life it has denied
for the grains and tar that stave the wants for crave
the bitter sweet sugars makes me happy as me
so for weeks fearing to take a peek outside
forbid me to fathom the sting of reality
just directly what my eyes see need
curb my hands from anything else
but perhaps a lust filled touch

I scrounge for my life to wither away
hey Xiri - never knew you were a skoma addict - periculoso
indeed, Smile
NICE
how can he never return to it when he just said he did in the poem?
I think you've misunderstood the meaning of it, Crux. And where do you find, that he HAS returned?

"Never more of the Dark time; The Dark thoughts of Uncertainty"refferes to that he has nothing to fear, as he has fled what he fled from, so he won't have any thoughts about, wether or not this is the end today, tonight or tomorrow.

But - he has fled the jungle of Elsweyr, for unknown reasons. One of the things he cannot return to is the innocense of his childhood (which might indicate he has engaged in some sort of murder or rebellion).
