Hello!
I'm working on some exterior meshes. They are just about finished but for the to me, mysterious Collision & Buffer. What the .... are they? Is Collision really empty except for Buffer or have I missed something?
Any enlightenment on the subject will be highly appreciated.

Cheers! Oom
I would imagine collision is there so the player doesn't get stuck in the mesh but rather glides along, and buffer to make it easier to move around the model in the CS. Those are the only uses I can think of for them.
Something like that was my first guess too. A little fast and shallow reversed engineering indicates that things might be more complexed or maybe simpler. It seems to me that the only function of Collision is to be a parent to Buffer (that holds the mesh).
? ?(
The Nif-format use some invisible features like Collision, Buffer and Bounding Box. That is about all I know on the subject. :hmm:
ok.
