Ofcourse we will have various smiths, belonging to various schools and traditions of sword smithing, each smith will have different qualities, for example: one smith could be known for his "saijo o waza mono" (highest grade in sharpness).
Not only Japanese swords will be ranked like this, but also other bladed Japanese weapons like the naginata and the yari.
We will also have something similar for other weapons, like bows, etc.

There is a concern about mystic staffs. Have you thought about making some magical stuff like those rocket-launcher-like staffs from Oblivion?

I have studied Japanese swords for over ten years now, the more variation we have, the better the mod will be.
And yes, the Void's weapons should be worked on, maybe you should copy the Void's concept art to the Akavir forums, it might be usefull.

Wel you know - the staffs in oblivion work as projectile weapons, not actually fight staffs (which is bad IMHO).
