Since I do not know much on this yet, I have come with a few Idea's that may be viewed, or seen.

If you guys intend on doing what they did for Cyrodill{Intro Quest.} then I have an idea for it. I am listing the actual idea below, but currently why I want to have that happen in Black Marsh.Black marsh was deemed a 'Creepy', 'Darkening', place by a few people in conversations, so why not have it happen?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IDEA=

While going across the border into Black Marsh, you are attacked by NPC's named Marshland Traders.They reason they are attacking Depends on whether or not you're Argonian.If you are Argonian, they are attacking simply to defeat you, and drag your body to Cyrodill to show even Argonians are not welcome at the time.

If you are an Imperial, they are attacking to Rob the richest folk, and make an image of the true Imperial Wanderer, or to show they dislike people entering.If you are a Khajiit, they are attacking from Prejudice, prefferrably if you enter near the Leyawiin border.

If you are a type of elf , you are simply told to go back to Sophistocation perfected, in your homeland.

These 'Marshland Traders' should be unkillable, or have Massive HP per Trader.The reason, is because IF the player is captured{Under 10 HP} they are taken to a place called "Marshland's Growth", where you are held in an Iron cage {Such as the IC Arena walls.}, and cannot escape untill you do certain tasks.

These tasks may or may not include
-Fighting in a tournament with Random Prisoners, stats would be at least 40 in each skill.The Skill number should be +Half the Characters level.
-Simply using A-{All items are taken, and examined} lockpick to break out, and attempt to take your weapon, and kill the Traders. If you fail, you are not getting away, and will likely be killed. If you kill the Trader named "Osyrus Triblade"{Redguard} the other Traders run, and will attack randomly throughout Black Marsh.
- Convincing the Traders to let you out.

-TOURNAMENT IDEA SPECIFICATIONS
In the tournament, the Player Character is given a choice of the weapon they get to fight with, they would have the choices of...
"Wooden Claymore"
"Wooden Bow,230 Wooden Arrows"
"Wooden Staff of Fire, +3 Fire Damage"
"Wooden Practice Blade"
"Wooden Katana"
"Wooden dagger"
"Hand to Hand fighting"
= Each weapon having a Weakness, such as a Player with a Staff would have the choice of using limited attacks, bad against Arrows.The player with the Claymore, would swing less than the Blade, and Katana. The dagger player, would have a small edge over Hand to Hand, because of the attack speed.

At the end of the Tournament, you get your Equipment back to fight the Traders, one on One, in four matches. You can choose to Take your gear, and run, or Take it, and fight. An alternative Choice- Run as they open the doors.

-KILLING OSYRUS
After Breaking out {Using the Lockpick that's saved}, you have a chance to grab your gear, as they discuss {Random Armor Names that you have, and an "Ooh, this is a nice blade...", or so on, and so forth.Your Misc. items placed in a chest,{Lockpicks,Quest Items,ect}.

IF you manage to grab your gear, or any you could have grabbed, the Traders decide to attack you.Then, a screen should pop up, saying something about which Trader is the leader, and his weakness to Staff Weapons. Here would be a good Choice to grab the Wooden Staff of Fire, from the tournament area.

IF you recovered ALL your armor, the fight should be much easier, as they will now let you fight without a weapon.Using that, you can easily sit back, and cast spells as they come at you. Osyrus would be likely a Battlemage, due to the Redguard's natural resists.

After killing Osyrus, the Traders will scatter, going out of the area quickly.

= DESCRIPTION OF 'Marshland's Growth"

It would hopefully be, an Area like the one placed in the current Banner, however it would be preferrable near the border, but at a place where no Random NPC's could interfere at help you out. The area where they TAKE you, would be basicly like the inside of the Arena Battle area , but the bars surround you completely, with a Very Hard lock, to prevent most escapes.

The cage would likely be by the entrance of a small structure, prefferably a Cave for the Tournament area.
= DESCRIPTION FOR THE TRADERS

Races : Prefferably, 1 Redguard, One Dark Elf, One Imperial, and an Orc for a power team. A Strong defensive, a Strong Magicka User, an Inbetween, and a Strong Offensive.

Names: Osyrus Triblade{Redguard,Male}, Inulara Sybial{Dark Elf,Female}, Restre Gurodius {Imperial,Male}, Uhgroth Gra-Mutuk {Orc,Female}

Where they attack: Once you cross the Border into BlackMarsh, you are free to wander for about 20 in game minutes,before being attacked by the group.Prefferably 1 hour away from the cave.

====DESCRIPTION FOR THE AREA'S IN THE GROWTH

Tournament Zone -

Basicly a cave, dubbed the tournament Zone by the traders, and used for just that purpose. The idea for this cave should look Roughly like the room in Rockmilk, where you find the lone Chest, and the way down into the next room.
--------
Competition Zone - Where you meet the other prisoners before a fight, in front of the Tournament Zone, Past the Equipment Halls.Furnished with a few chairs, and one table in the center of the room.
-------
Equipment halls - This is where you can either pick your weapons for the tournament zone, or attack the Traders. It is possible to bring the traders into the Competition Zone.
------
Cage,further description - The cage is furnished with two dead bodies, Skeletal, and one Skull, on a small stool.
---------

=== PRISONER DESCRIPTIONS

Generic 1 - Ygmar Uboker{Nord,Captured for their Drunkenness}. He is a basic Nord, using a Wooden Claymore as his weapon in the tournament.
WEAKNESSES- Characters with high Agility, Claymore is easily avoided. Not too bright.
RANK: First Fight.
Generic 2 - Unulin Turus {Imperial}, Slightly advanced Imperial. Uses a Wooden Practice Sword.
WEAKNESSES- Characters with High Magicka, weak against Magic.
Generic 3 - Resutius Buritius{Breton}, Using a Wooden Bow & 230 Arrows.
WEAKNESSES- Weak against attacks from Heavy Weapons {Over 20 weight.}, such as the Wooden Claymore.
Rohagaa Triblade - Osyrus' sister, captured for betraying the traders. She is determined to defeat them all using your stuff.{No weaknesses, preferrably stronger than the others.}
------------------
=== REASONS FOR WANTING THIS TO HAPPEN
I think it would be kind of interesting, and it would be fun to have another Tournament line, where you need to fight your way out. I also wanted to see something relative to a Bandit attack on you, or a group attack.

JOURNAL UPDATES

Argonians-
I have crossed the border into my Homeland, where I came from, where I feel at home...

While Travelling around the border, a group attacked me out of nowhere!I should try and defend myself, and stay away from them. The group claimed I am not welcome in my Homeland.

{If Successful}
I've defeated the 'Traders', and continued on, I still wonder why they attacked...{End.}

{If captured}
I was recently captured by the Traders, and I have awoken inside of a Cave somewhere. There are iron bars preventing my escape, surrounding me.

{If you break out}
I have broken out of the cage, and I need to find my items now.They're probably by the traders, so they could take my life without hostility.It's time to bring them the pain...

{If Tournament.}
The traders offered me a Deal, if I can win their tournament, I will be let free.I accepted the offer, and chose a wooden ______ for my weapon.

Sorry for the shadey-ness of the post.I thought it up quickly.

--------Ephmeral
No thanks.

1) Not all elves are sophisticated, only Altmer are. Bosmer are canabalistic savages, Ashlanders are nomadic savages. Both rarely even read...

2) Some of us roleplay and don't pick locks.

3) Not all of us call Argonia home Tongue

4) Imperials are far from rich, only the nobility. Ever seen all those beggars Tongue

5) Why are the traders non Argonian while Argonia is so dangerous? Makes no sence to me, it doens't fit in with your setting.

Well enough negatism, glad to see you here and well hope you still stick around. Wink
Khajiit wouldn't be attacked thgouh prejudice, Argonians work closely with Khajiit in some areas.
I like the idea, though (as Mormacil stated) there are some flaws in it.

Glad to see new people coming into BM though, hope you stay around.
I'll be trying to stay, expect me to be doing things at 3:00 PM EST.I want to be a Literature*, the original post said lore.x_x I'll try either.I'm already starting some Generic Samples in my notebooks.
Now rendered obsolete by our more up-to-date version of entering the province.
Agreed. 'Dead'.
Maybe Mormacil's evisceration of his post put this guy off...
