Kaliq asked me for some advise on decorating desert houses

Some tips to remember is that in a desert wood is a precious commodity, thus, expensive. Sure Valenwood is next door, but still it is expensive to get wood into a desert. However, Dune and nearby towns (such as the one Kaliq working on) are along a major trade route between Torval and Skingrad and wood is slightly less expensive than in say, Orcrest. So try to be frugal with wooden furniture in all desert cities, use stone if at all possible (perhaps some retextures are in order). In small towns there will likely be an inn for travelling merchants, as well as a resupply station (store) for said merchants, they will need food and precious water for themselves and their beasts of burden. the rest of the houses will belong to people who work in said inn or store, as the town really does depend heavily on the merchants that come through. They might be slightly well off as a hungry, thirsty merchant will pay extra coin for relief from their suffering at such a small haven. So perhaps use some middle class furniture.

Will add more when i think of it.
