You'll find the exterior and interior building (screenshot) in the cell SilgradCity0514. Use the Silgrad_Tower.esm v2.994 or a higher version.


The NPC('s) must have (full) dialogue and AI, don't forget the pathgrid.
Full AI: Eat, sleep, one drink and/or read package.

I'll set the rotation for the Northmarker and connect the interior to the exterior.


For reasons of playtesting it's often handy to add a X marker (heading).
When you use the console (~), type coc "XX", replace the "XX" with your cell name.


Background.

Trival and Irina Tolos Dunmer Commoners
They seem to live a pretty normal life, however Trival's Mother lives with them (Mindrele Tolos), Trival seems to be a bit of a moma's boy.

Use the existing cell (SilgradCity0514) and don't delete the exterior building.
After a long break from ST, I want to return to modding. I think this small house should be easy enough for that. Can I mod it?
Hey, welcome back! :cheers: You must have been gone a long time because I've not seen you at all. You're probably from before I joined. Sorry to interrupt here but it's good to see more modders willing to take up the challenge again.

Thanks. I have two questions:
  • What would be the ideal facecount for the cell?
  • Is there any quick reference that'll tell me what objects would be good clutter, and what they are? It's kind of hard looking through all the categories in the CS and dropping them in to see what they are.

Sandor (actually runs this area) usually likes to see 100,000+ face counts.

I see that the description says poor. That would mean poor clutter.

items/miscitems/st/dunmer/poor for dishes etc.

Redware objects are usually reserved for middle to poor-middle.
No glassware as that would be rich.

other items such as bottles are either class. You have to use some sense that you probably would see cheap wine rather than flin in a poor house, etc.

The furniture is set up the same way in classes.

Rugs, tapestry, paintings ect. are not class reserved but a poorer house will not be as plush with rugs and tapetry as say an upper class house.

Clothes are OB but the same class distinction applies.

When I started modding with ST assets it took a while to be able to navigate around the CS but once you know where everything is located it becomes clear.

You could check SilgradCity0508 or some of the other finished claims that start with '05'.
