Fables of the Dro'grhazx; What the Mane Stole
Recorded under the Imperial Decree of Cultural Protection by the Imperial Univeristy Scribe, Variou Talisa.
A long time ago, when the twins of Nirni were still braking free from their whole, the Mane under Moon and Star took passage into the desert, and awoke us from our dreams, awakening us to nightmares [he gave before he took].
Each paw he placed upon the sands drummed into our minds, beating down our memorys from the times-of-the-last-age [La'palz] so that we forgot what he would do (and what he had already done).
We had given him so much, but he was Khajiit, and gift and theift were of the same make. Our Dro'Khajiit had given the mane many of their own locks so many times before. But it was gift, not theift.
His footsteps continued, soft though they were, loud were they upon our souls, but still did we slumber with nightmares around us in our dream-walking.
He would say differnt, that he had not walked backwards a thousand times on the grains of time, but our whiskers know better. For in our hearts we feel the missing part of us that points like a compass towards that of which he stole.
With Sugar-Cane-Flute he lead away our young, and our mu'roidea flocks (for they used to roam free in the deserts, with flesh sweet because they ate the Sugar-Fly, which at the Cane of the South). We will not forgive the mane.
In sadness, we sealed away the secrets we knew of the desert, of things that it swallowed beneth it's golden dunes, to await a time when things would be set right; we send our prak'ada to Alkosh every moon that it would be so.

La'palz; 'La' comming fro, the Ayleid Language meaning 'time', 'palz' being made up meaning 'from before', (it was also intended to sound like 'Kalpa').
prak'ada; 'prak' is stolen from the Tocharian RW language meaning 'to ask', and 'ada' is stolen from the Ayleid language meaning 'God(s)', together meaning 'to ask god(s)'.
Dro'grhazx; 'Dro' is in lore, meaing 'Grandfathers' and 'grhazx' I made up, which means 'to remain', together meaning 'The-Older-Ones-that-were-not-taken'.
Mu'roidea; 'Muroidea' it's the name for the wider Rodent Family, sounded Khajiit like.
