Naturally, I'd normally be delighted to take on such a fun project but I think I've got just too much on right now to take this off someone else's hands. Time to let someone else take over, I think...any takers?
Too bad you cant do it. Anyway we need someone who can add sarcasm and humour to the lines.
Hmmm, sarcasm and humour.....I like the sound of that. I guess I could change my mind. I'm posting up my comments on the other thread.
Hello,

not to step on anyone's toes, but I gave it a try (needed a break from party preparations Wink )

Just let me know what you think of it.

Greetings

Quentin
Nice first go :goodjob:

I imagined more of a higher pitched voice and with more emotion in the tone

I can't remember the movie (animated I think it was) with the singing sword
I remember it from the Prince Valient series but it was an offshoot of that I think Bugs Bunny Big Grin for some reason when I think of a talking sword thats what comes to mind

Enjoy

Thanks for the thumbs up.

And thanks for the clarification on this point; I had some kind of boheme type in mind, but I'll see, if I can get my voice a few pitches higher (or get those nice little sound effects working)

Greetings

Quentin
I wouldn't bother if I were you. It should be possible on most voice recording software to do a bit of pitch-shifting that will take your pitch as high as it needs to be. Just concentrate on getting the acting and expression right. If you have too many effects that you're trying to lay over the top of it manually, it will inevitably have an effect on the overall quality.

I'm okay with you taking this, btw. I have a lot on my plate as it is and, anyway, you look like you're handling this admirably.

Although I thought about merging this idea with the 'Oblivion Sound Sets' so that the player might end up arguing with their sword, this may nevertheless be of limited appeal - a gimmick that would probably take a lot of time to work out and would not have too much of an effect on the overall finished product in the end. If, on the other hand, people really liked the idea then I could work with you on this one to add the lines and make it cross-compatible.

Oh, and feel free to record the lines I suggested as well, if needs be.
Really good first go, but I agree with what Bob said, so thats all I need to say, good job
I don't post on here much, (looks at post count), ok, so this is my first post, but I always enjoy a bit of fun voice work Big Grin:
