Greetings all,

At the invite of Ibsen's Ghost, I hope I get the opportunity to be able to add to this forum.

I am relitively new to Voice Acting (about 4 months) and hope I get the chance to add as well as learn while here.

In addition, I am somewhat familiar with CS (dialog only stuff), and can make LIP animiations, too, fairly easyly and pain free...

Well, don't know what else to say, but...

Hey all!

Edit: Some Samples... Also check the clicky in my sig.
Hi Euther,

Could you post up some samples for us? I think it would help SACarrow best if we can place you according the generic race that you're most comfortable with. Of course, NPC work will come later but it helps to get a general idea of someone's specialism (unless you're a multiple-voice person, of course).

These could be samples from DB, copies of lines from vanilla Oblivion (look in your data-sound folder) or typical comments that you'll hear as rumours or during the persuasion game.....
Welcome to Silgrad Euther

look forward to hearing your works

Enjoy
Bob
OK, added voice samples... see top post.

Thanks,
Euther
As good as I expected :goodjob: . This is the best I've heard in a long time. Giskard mentioned your name to me before and he generally has good taste in his recommendations. This is just to let you know that this thread isn't silent. I'm just trying to get in touch with people so that we place you correctly.

I'm particularly happy with your Necromancer/Marauder/Vamp samples. If CambridgeSpy, our previous VA, has indeed left us as he appears to have done, then it would be nice to have you take over the voices for our 'Bandit' sound set as the match would be perfect with this range of voices. The bad news, of course, is that this is about 1000 lines worth of recordings. It's up to you if you want to take that on but I grew very weary after doing about 4000 myself.....each one was a lot of recording time, especially if you're having to use throat sounds like the Khajiit.

However, I love the Merchant voice and I'm hoping that this voice can be used for NPCs in the Imperial port town of Steadhelm. In fact, I was thinking of taking this on as my next project, the voices for Steadhelm that is. I had been waiting for some generic voice scripts for Steadhelm from sandor or SACarrow but with you onboard we could pretty much clean up the town voices together and go a big step further towards finalising this region.

What audio software did you use for the 'Undead Hero Sample' btw?
Brief correction: CS has most definitely not left us. In fact I have many brigand lines from him that I need to process.

This one's on me,
Steve
You all thought I have left??? I have other things on my plate, you know!
Ah, CS! Welcome back =) . I didn't realise. It's just that our VA team tend to be called in when required so we worry whether they've disappeared.
