Candlenut tree or "Kukui" (large seeds edible and highly flammable; seeds themselves used as torch fuel - an ingame lighting gimmick??; burnt seed soot - superior black dye)
Sandbox tree (fruit is explosive and dangerous; pods catapult seed 100 meters and can hurt you - a trap idea?? <pods on ground can explode if you touch them or get too close?>; nicknamed Dynamite Tree; milky say used to poison fish in waters)
Seagrape (small shrub to tree; fruit look like long vertical green grape cluster; edible raw/jams/jellies; gorws right beside ocean on sandy beaches)
Ohelo [Vaccinium reticulatum] (very small bush; edible fruit with cranberry taste in shades of blue/purple/red/orange/yellow; likes to grow on lava flows,ash, poor soil in general)
Cannonball tree (large woody/hard cannonball shaped fruit grow on its trunk, literally; be caredful walking under them - artillery and trap idea?)
Lacquer tree (sap polymerizes when drying <aka hardens>; sap to varnish and coat stuff - waterproof when dry; waterproof boats, and etc)
