Silgrad Tower from the Ashes

Here's what what i've been working on lately, don't panic still working on Orcrest, just needed a short break from it (before i go completely mad y'know ). I've been playing around with worldspaces and i give you Senchal, or at least the most of the exterior. Needs a lot more clutter but it should look nicer afterwards.

Senchal is the southernmost city of Elsweyr, it used to be one of the roughest toughest cities to dwell int but thanks to the Gold Cat's considerable influence the city is now clean, tidy and crime-free. I've made this using a combination of dune and rextextured karithian pieces (which i might add look fantastic in-game) Now for some piccys

Just a thought - what happened to all those Khajiit who used to live in Senchal's slums before they were cleaned out by the Gold Cat? Presumably they're still just as poor and skooma-addicted, just moved outside the city limits...

Perhaps outside the city walls (where they can't be seen by visitors) you could add some really nasty slums where Senchal's criminal element were relocated?

Speaking of the Gold Cat, I was thinking you could try making his estate look a bit more extravagant, lots of statues, fountains, that sort of thing. I had an idea that maybe he wants to show off his wealth but has no good taste whatsoever, so his mansion is a bizarre mix of traditional Khajiit and architectural flourishes from all over Tamriel.

That's just fantastic, it looks like a fairly fleshed out city, and lord knows we can always use those. Just a thought though, even though its not longer a "dirty" city, oughtn't there be more of a difference between the lower and upper class districts? Or can we just not see that in these photos?

You might want to get someone to lok at the ground texture used in the first pic (and various others) though, it only seems to tile properly in one direction.
