Alrighty, we have three main Temples and their associated factions in Elsweyr, we need some one to model some training excercises for martial arts.
The idea is the player activates a training mat, the camera is forced to 3rd person, controls disabled and the player watches themselves do a short practice animation. After training x number of times, the player is granted a permanent bonus to hand to hand and a temple specific atrribute. The player will only be able to join one of the three temples.
Here are some reference videos for a few martial arts, ignore the sales crap on a couple of them. Concept Art of the Temples and dress code for the monks will follow shortly.
Temple of Two Moons Dance
Trains: Hand to Hand and Strength
Martial art base: Karate
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a_0dc4aK08
The Temple of Two Moons Dance is located south of Orcrest. Worship of the ja-kha'jay is practiced at this Temple. The Monks typically provide strength training to those willing to learn.
Temple of Agamanus
Trains: Hand to Hand and Endurance
Martial art base: Ju jitsu
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaMqRJROc...re=related
The Temple of Agamanus is located North West of Corinth. Although it is named after an ancient Hero, it is actually Magrus which is worshipped here, they have had conflicts with the Mage's Guild in the past. The Monks provide endurance training to those willing to learn.
Temple of the Starry Heart
Trains: Hand to Hand and Speed
Matrial art base: Tai Chi
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyiZe6oQB...re=related
Concept: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb249...yHeart.jpg
The Temple of the Starry Heart is located due west of Alabaster (Leyawiin) on Elsweyrs highest peak. These monks worship the Lost Kits of Fadomai (who escaped Lorkhaj's trap and became stars). These cats have their Temple on top of a mountain with an observatory based from ancient s'rha designs. They track the motions of the heavens and train speed training for those willing to learn and have completed training at the other two temples, however the player may join this Temple by appealing to the Grandmaster having passed a particular quest (at this point this is still undecided). Only those who have completed training at all three temples are allowed to become the Mane's personal guards. I know Tai Chi motions are slow and graceful, but those same motions carry deadly force when used at full speed in a combat situation.
