Ill get all the Npc statistics, but It might be a few days, but it will be a definite guide. Big Grin

Everything looks like its coming out perfectly.
how many new npcs are being added?
Probably not that many. If you look at the concept mock-ups, you can see that Suran really hasn't grown all that much. Sure they are a couple of new guard towers, but there were already guards; we just will probably toss in a couple more. We also have a new building that will become a duplex in the ghetto area, but one half of it will be a PC purchasable house and the other is for the head of the Slave Market next door, so those don't add anyone. There is going to be a little turn-over with the absence of the Outfitter and the openning of the new Tradehouse, but that's probably only two or three people there added. The Storage building is the biggest addition, but that will again be guards and one or two administrators. All together, I'd say we're looking at adding about ten NCPs tops and losing at least one.
The guide is for pre-existing, not new Big Grin
huh, i always thought that a hlaalu trading village would have grown more, especially considering its the only major town for the trade of the goods and what not grown in the acasidian isles...
I think youre misunderstanding me. Im making a guide of pre-existing npcs, I suspect we will add more.
no, i understood you perfectly, in that last post i was both responding to Vrenir and expressing my take on the subject

sorry 4 the confusion
Yeah, its weird, none of Vrenir's posts were showing up til just now ?(
In response to batman, I didn't expand Suran a lot for a number of reasons.

1) Balmora is now huge and it's not all that far away. Unless the Hlallu experienced an absolute population explosion within six years, a lot has been redistribution. With the relative proximity of Suran to Balmora, I would assume that only one could grow this substantially during so short a time and the size of Balmora had already been established.

2) Look at where Suran is. Frankly, there's not a lot of room to grow. There's water on one side and tall rocks on all the others. Unless we were to expand slightly up the path or across the water, we couldn't go anywhere but up and again, Balmora is already using the three-story high-rise idea.

3) I like the idea that Suran is the Hlallu town that's been "ill-used." Basically, it's protected because it's a weigh station, but the House isn't invested in it as a city. There aren't any big capital improvement funds or guild houses or plazas with statues or fountains. Suran is basically a utilitarian place half full of low-life scum (prostitutes and slave traders) and a few upper-crust Hlallu noblement working in the Storage building offices and the mansion. Face it, in TESIII, Suran was boring, but it was gritty and I think that the grittiness has potential for development. I want to harness it and make it a fascinating place in TESIV.
Maybe Suran could be the offical Hlaalu Storage where all the goods go from ebony, glass, telvanni bug musk, saltrice, silverware, weapons and armor, and who could forget skooma and moonsugar and it would make those warehouses alot more important?
