Umm... isn't saltrice a Morrowindian plant? What would it be doing in Elseweyr? (this would cut one model off our list)

I actually did complete the Blood Rose for this project a long while back, but I forget if I sent it directly to Ja-Kha'Jay, or to Senten.

Also, for the plants that need ingredients, are the meshes complete? If so, I think that with my limited skills in 3ds max and nifskope, I might be able to handle that.

Also, there is a rice plant (though not used ingame, however the rice ingredient is) already in Oblivion, which should have been used but they decided to ignore lore, though I would imagine it would be a crop grown in The Rim territory.

Deeza, yes the plants with no ingredients has complete meshes, have a go if you'd like. As for Saltrice, i believe it was an ingame description in Morrowind that said is was also grown in southern Elsweyr. We could probably just reuse the rice model for this.

JKJ is right, looked it up in the TES3 CS:

"The Khajiit of the southern Elsweyr jungles and river basins are settled city dwellers with ancient mercantile traditions and a stable agrarian aristocracy based on sugarcane and saltrice plantations. The nomadic tribal Khajiit of the dry northern wastes and grasslands are, by contrast, aggressive and territorial tribal raiders periodically united under tribal warlords. While the settled south has been quick to adopt Imperial ways, the northern nomadic tribes cling to their warlike barbarian traditions."

What probably happened is that the Dunmer took advantage of the Khajiit knowledge of farming the crop, and had it brought over with the Khajiiti Slaves so they could farm it (given that rice seems to be more of a Cyrodilic/Argonian/Elsweyrian product, going by lore).

Sooo.... Could we just use the rice plant with a retex as saltrice?

Doesn't even need a retex, it's good as it is, especially since the rice plant isn't actually used in OB.

Well then, that's one off the list at least. Only 9 more to go! (plus 3 ingredients)
