  :banana:I think Molag mar's population should be increased so maybe another store on the outside walls of waistworks maybe an enchanter, more dark-like brick houses possible leading towards the silt strider and make the buyoant armigers joinable they look so much fun. You could have a couple quest givers in Molag Mar and GhostGate since it is there only holdings, get rid of the Ordinators at molag mar now make Buyoant Armigers the ruling law there. Also Had some sort of bigger stronghold near the Temple to the top? For the Grand Marshal still have the smaller one down stairs for the troops and officers and maybe from quests given to you, you could some how expand the Grand Marshal's stronghold to connect with the normal troops. Please make the buyoant armigers joinable they are like imperial knights except with their customs. Some quests could involve finding a secret secret hideout in the underworks of molag mar. Killing some Dagoths off, challenging Imperial, Redoran, Indoril, all the houses to poetry duels or honor duels which is just a duel but to the death. Leading a army against Telasero and showing that Buyoant Faction is tougher and should be treated like a house of morrowind. Say if Vivec died they would just convert to their own faction and be like morrowinds little army milita. Other quests could involve helping solve murders Defending GhostGate with the Orinators, Making the profit of the Buyoant Armigers increase maybe find a kwama mine and a glass or ebony mine glass more likely to supply the officers with better gear. And for becoming Grand Marshal you can control any buyoant Armiger and collect taxes from them or people living in Buyoant Armiger side of ghostgate and Molag MAr SO PLEASE MAKE THEM JOINABLE Big Grin

Also add the Buyoant Armiger Vaults from Ghostgate to the buyoant stronghold in Molag MAr like come on you gotta keep the goodies safe and in the Grand Marshal's Stronghold maybe have the Buyoant armiger artifacts on dispaly like the Staff And axe and hair shirt?
we'll see man, i'm a patron of "plan high, expect low" but some of these things are quite complex and time consuming.

if you feels that strongly about it (which it sounds to me like you do) you should claim molag mar or the bouyant armigers, and put all your creative effort toward fullying fleshing them out.

that said, i think that all your ideas have merit. i would love to see molag mar expanded and the bouyant armigers with great quests. all that we really need for them now is the proper implementation.

also as a house redoran quest i was planning on having the PC meet and work with the bouyant armigers. the quest was going to involve takign a new member to the redoran stronghold in molag mar, but while you were there, a prisoner would escape from the dungeons, and the bouyant armigers would ask your help in tracking him down and stopping him. (hes a necromancer, but you don't know that until he summons some undead on you ass :brew: ) if you do taking planning lead, maybe we could work the quest from either side, as the armigers who have to recruit the redoran member passing through or vice versa.
Ill help as long as i dont have to mod lol... i tried to make an island i found a mountain bigger than red moutain...
well, you know... you could try to get better at it, there are plenty of scripting tutorials out there. and not only that, but the oblvion CS will be differnt from the morrowind one, so everyone will have to learn, all that makes a difference is the amount of time and effort.

and besides you can write quests and dialouge, as well as design, structure, and solidify the concepts. but the longer we wait the closer we get to release date...

edit: and can someone with MOD powers please change the topic name so it's spelled right?
I know I've been to Molag Mar once in the game, but where is it located? Is it close to Ghostgate? Are there Armigers there in TESIII? What House controlled it before? Besides the fact that nothing with Cantons had enough people in TESIII, what reason would you give for the city's proposed growth? (i.e. - what industries, trade, etc?) Just some questions I'd like answers to (especially the latter ones) before saying anything for or against these ideas.
well the reasons that i would give, would start as an extension of what you said, we're making Vvardenfell as it should have been more than as it was, and Molag Mar definetly wasn't big enough before. Not only that but every town has be slightly expanded in some way, if only for the sake of showing time passing and the further colonization of Vvardenfell.

The main purpose of Molag Mar is as a joint Bouyant Armiger/Redoran stronghold, its the "gateway" to the Southern Ashlands and the Molag Mar region, as well as Mount's Kand and Assarnibib.

oh and head here for a good map.
it was supposed to be:
a fortress city
a refuge for pilgrims
a temple

it had a little temple... was a poor fort.... and wasn't much of a refuge....

as for Buoyant Armigers, I am working on a way for them to be in but not in... you'll have to wait for me to disclose it
as for Molag Mar, EbonyKnight if you want to claim the developement of its blueprint I can help...
I also have a few plans for Indoril and Dres pertaining to Molag Mar, but I will talk to batman about it since they are Redoran-tied while on Vvardenfell....

all agree? make plans... and I'll come back and post them later...
makes sense to me, but some of those purposes aren't useful anymore

a fortress, from what? the blight is gone now...

a refuge for pilgrims, with the fal of the tribunal, who knows??

a temple, well i suppose this doesn't become obsolete.

so in short, with no more blight, and increasing ease of colonization of more temperate regions, what is molag mars purpose besides as a military stronghold and gateway to nearby pilgrimiage locations?

not that it isn't no purpose....
1. 6th House is still out there... whatever the people know it or not
2. Ashlander tribes could be hostile, especially Erabenimsun
3. pilgrims will still go to the shrines, only 6 years after the death and it has (as far as we know) been a secret
4. temple, well, these people need a religion, and temple is where they go...
oh! i got pwned! :goodjob:
