So given we're advancing ALOT faster now, here's how we'll be handling the promotion of the mod!

The first release will be a Trailer of the Alpha version of the mod, meaning after region gen, and we've put a few places on the Heightmap (with all the new assets we have to showcase -examples being a few Anequina' campsites using Shewter's tent meshs, have the city walls that are finished put on the heightmap (Rimmen's, possibly Orcrest's/Dune's), etc), and a voiceover by one of the major characters in the mod (Possibly the Old King of the Secondary Questline, the Mane of the MQ, or another Major Character), and finally finished off with Xae's 'Nomad's Flight' track put over the top.
We'll likely come under heavy criticism by the DoA fans upon it's release, which is to be expected, but it's important that we persevere and just make as broad a release of the trailer as possible (TIL, TESNexus, PES, BSF, etc), just so we get the mod out there. We'll have to be careful at this point how we represent ourselves, and to be careful not to make annoyed/angry posts if people start to flamebait us, or anything of a similar nature.

The second release will be a 'prequel' one-issue comic that will set up some of the Secondary Questline, and allude to the MQ and other parts of Elsweyr's story. It'll be somewhat similar to the Redguard Comic in art style, and of a similar length.
Like the trailer, we should make as broad a release as possible (this time we can also release to other places, like the BSF Fan Art boards, deviantArt, and so on), but to keep people entertained the comic should be released gradually say in 2-3 pages at a time per week (to make sure we keep to the time schedule, the comic should be 100% completed before we start making any releases). To keep the work focused on the mod, rather than on the comic, we'll quickly write up the storyline with everyone involved, and then the art side will switch to a smaller group of people, and made as 'side project' so that it doesn't detract from the more important fact we need to be focused on modeling, modding, and so forth.

The third release will be a second trailer, this time of the beta version of the mod, and it'll likely resemble the first trailer, with the major difference being the amount of content we'll be showing. Hopefully we'll also get to show some of the 'Introduction' Chapter of the MQ, and have most of the cities (atleast their walls) on the heightmap to showcase too.
Around the time of the second release of the trailer, we'll likely also be releasing a beta version of the mod, but this will be depedant on whether the 'Introduction' Chapter of the MQ is finished or not (which allows the player to come to Elsweyr).
