This claim is for a house that belongs to one of the many street vendors in the Temple Compound of Soluthis. The occupants have already been modded (complete with unique dialogue and AI) by Razorwing so all that remains is sprucing up the interior with various bits of clutter and miscellanea here and there (largely up to you).

There is a starter cell for this location, so load up Oblivion.esm + Silgrad_Tower.esm and open the cell Soluthis0520, and then you can get started. The owner(s) of this building are Dunmer belonging to Great House Redoran. Don't use any Imperial stuff in this location, whether from TES4 or from our mod, apart from clothes and weapons.

Extended information on modding in general can be found in sandor's excellent thread Technical Info concerning Interiors, and naturally the articles on the CS wiki are always worth reading. But don't forget to run forum searches here as well, because often you'll find the answer here instead of the wiki. If you don't find the answer, feel free to post the question here in your claims thread But beyond that it's worth remembering that trial-and-error is an integral part of modding and it's only natural that you have to playtest your work to see if what you did worked or not.

Hi,

I'll claim this one.

Thanks.
Hi Sandor,

I've run into quite a bizarre issue with this claim.

In the Soluthis0520 cell, and that cell only, I cannot select or move any statics or items with the mouse or keyboard.

I can still select them by dragging a box over them, but the CS will simply not let me move them.

What's even more bizarre is that I can move NPCs and markers with no problem at all.

?(

I've tried editing the cell with both the CSE and the Vanilla CS and they both seem to be having the same issue.

I managed to edit the cell for about half an hour before it arised so I presume it's something I did that caused it.

There is one thread I found on UESP about the issue.
Problem in CS, can't select with mouse or move

:dunce:
I have no idea what's causing this, I just rechecked and the CS works fine (v 1.2.0.404).

Did you try to re-install the CS?

EDIT
It's perhaps related your OP-system, I know from experience that a 64 bit OP with W7 causes problems.

That's why I still use an XP 32 bit (generating LOD textures) and a Vista system for modding.
I'm on 64 bit Vista. Sometimes, I have a similar problem where I can only select items by clicking and dragging over them. I can still move them, however. The only thing that seems to fix the problem is a clean boot, and once my PC starts up again, it's fine. This is a strange issue. ?(
Thanks, but I tried a clean boot and compatibility mode but still had issues.

I started a new clean .esp :check:

Things work fine now.
Here is the file.
Thank you! Smile
