Pete Postlethwaite has died! One of my absolute favourite actors of all-time: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12106753 . :poorme:
I'm not sure what makes me more British, the fact that I know who that is or that I can pronounce his last name.

Sad, though.
Saw that too - a great loss: he should have had many more years of work yet.
Yeah I saw that. Shame he died quite young. Sad

He was great in Jurassic Park 2 - I love that film! =)
I thought he brightened up every single film I've seen him in. He was occasionally in utter shite films that failed to exploit his tremendous ability but you were pretty much guaranteed something special in whatever he turned up in.
Yes, I remember him in Jurassic Park, as well.

It's sad to hear that he's gone....

Great pic! And I love the dedication involved in adjusting your avatar to fit! :goodjob:

@ Nero - He's only the man whom Steven Spielberg referred to as "the finest actor in the world!" (http://www.manchesterconfidential.co.uk/..._16507.asp). If you're British, you couldn't miss him on TV because he worked tirelessly on big Hollywood projects, tons of stuff for national TV besides plenty of roles onstage in Shakespearean productions. This website shows a few highlights: http://www.metro.co.uk/film/851691-pete-...-5-moments . If I could "do a Postlethwaite" with my voice acting, I'd be a wealthy man by now.
