Among the newly released previews of TESIV, I found mention that each major city has its own music. We've got a lot of cities on Vvardenfell, but I was thinking that it'd be cool to have a theme for each House at least that would play in cities owned by that faction. Of course for Imperials, Nords, caves, and tombs we could use Oblivion music.
At any rate, as I was thinking this, what I think is a nice Vivec tune came into my head (kind of grand but also slightly mournful). I hummed it into the computer mic and saved it as an mp3, but it's too big to attach here. 868kb instead of 500kb. If anybody could point out to me how I could communicate it, I'd be much appreciative. Note that it is just a little humming and would need some professional help to make it game-worthy. Thanks.
i dunno about your humming, but i have a friend in real life who thinks himself a music maker (i believe he uses Garageband or some such program) and i'm sure i could get him to donate/make some music for the mod, i'llk ask him and get back...
I think Vrenir means we can use his humming to base it off of when we make the music
That was my hope, if I could find a way to get it on here. I'd definitely support the idea of recruiting capable musicians though (so long as they can make at least TESIII level music).
I could wrangle up some. And I will soon be quite proficient with the Acoustic guitar.

that is assuming the cave/dungeon/etc. themes are in Oblivion ...duh
but I fear this list may be compromised furthur...

A few variations of each would be neat too.
We need a Temple Theme for places like Ghostgate and Vivec that don't really fit under a House banner and certainly aren't tombs or dungeons.
