I'm Martin, and I'll be writing some original soundtracks (read: probably a lot) for Elsewyr, and I'll be posting works in progress and completed sounds here for your listening pleasure.

Hi Martin

It sounds like a good start to me - not that I've any musical expertise at all.

One thing worth pointing out right at the start is that the music is one of the few things we can expect will carry over from TES 4 to TES 5 with no change at all. Work on the score will be great long-term value!

We have a strong vision for the Elsweyr landmass and you'll need to have a stroll around to get the feel of it. I know it's a big download but do go get the Alpha Release. The list of required files is in the thread. I will PM you the unlock password (we don't want our resources pinched!)

I'll be working on saving the money for better sound libraries, so hopefully I'll be able to give the scores a complete overhaul before we start working on TES 5 so that they sound a bit less... "computer-ish".

Update: I'm still working hard on some music & should have at least one finished piece of music up for you soon! It's just going a bit too slow for my liking at the moment, & it's mostly my fault.

But I am still working xD I promise!

Yeah, I did =)

Turns out it was working all along, I was just typoing the "Elsweyr" name xD

Righty! My RL problems have been fixed & I'm back on track with the score. Working on the first one as I type this, in fact!

I can hear the influences TOYB was talking about in the drum and flute - I think its really suitable for exploring the grasslands.

Completely reworked the main theme. TOYB's been a great help with his feedback and criticism, and the Trailer theme is now a release candidate, pending further review.
