Carvans would travel on well known routes of Vvardenfell. I propose tha there are two Ashlander Caravans, one Redoran, and one Hlaalu.... they will work somewhat similar to patrolling guards. Except there are certain stops where the carvan will unpack and be selling things for a few days, then move on to the next town.
The Ashland Tribe caravan will have two silt striders and 3 guars and go from the Urshilaku camp, to Shishi, then Maar Gan, then Bal Isra, then Ald-ruhn, then Maltir Bal... and so on and so forth until they reach Gnisis, then they will turn back and go on their jouney back to the Urshilaku Camp.
The Grazeland tribe caravan of striders and guars, and maybe a smaller strider, I can see them going from the Zainab Camp all the way down to the Molag Mar stopping at Falensarano and Tel Uvirith on the way.
The Hlaalu caravan of guars can go from Suran, to Pelagiad, to Nothryon Hold, and then to Balmora, and then back to Suran on the same route.
The Redoran caravan of guars and maybe a strider will go from Gnisis and to all the West Gash towns and end at Ald Ruhn

Confusedhrug: good idea no?
Sounds great, I think traveling caravans are something many players would like to see.

What about merchant caravans? I would imagine there would be at least one large group of traveling merchants that travel all the way around the island simply selling and buying goods, especially in a time of increased conflict when there is gold to be made through supplying the many different factions.
Also it would be good to have a shop in the areas that are barely populated and the nearest town is a mile away
"maybe quests like said Odai plateau for example a caravan is trying to get up the mountain but bandits have blocked it off you can either help them or help the bandits or watch as they get mad and kill each other "
:goodjob:
Sounds very interesting. possibly a quest where you are paid to escort a caravan, and you wait in the back of the caravan, and when it gets attacked, you jump out and mess up some bandits Big Grin
should we make caravans rideable?

i know that sounds far out there, but we already know that the player can sit down in chairs. So if we put a chair on a cart, being pulled by a horse (guar...oops Wink) then theoretically we could allow the PC to ride in a caravan.

And in keeping with bethesdas philosiphes, if you can do it, the NPCs can as well... imagine... :pop:... :applause:
We could expand this to soldiers being brought to the battlefield by caravans Big Grin
we could  but we'd have to test it A LOT to make sure it could work..
Thats the bad part...

But we could get it to work!
