The Pit is basically the combat training ground for Ebbedin. Guards, adventurers, and even some settlers will train here. On the occasion, duels will also be held here.
The Town Square is just that. There is a market tent in the middle. The merchant sells basic equipment - nothing special.
The Docks are where boats come in, most notably the Ferry to Gnisis.

I also editted some of your OPs for the claims, btw. I had a look at Ebbedin once I finally got the render to display properly, and I was going to at last generate some more region with it. Unfortunately, you know how my computer is when it comes to heightmaps and stuff...

I think we need to have the Bitter Coast flora (mushrooms, etc... come later, when they are finished
) put into the Ebbedin region, as well as some rocks and stuff... Remember that the CS loses things, and I don't even know if I know how to create the list properly due to all the sub-folders involved. Sounds is easy enough though, and I can't remember how many countless times I tried to get that right...Did you duplicate the Blackwood region before generating everything?

I just gave it a blackwood region and did search and replace. I figured that was easiest.
