about 4-5 unique pieces.
maybe 8-9 when compared to the Morrowind pieces, as mine are cut into smaller pieces (ie: column, wall, floor are seperate pieces)
I got enough to make basic hallways and rooms.
The tiles you see in the image are too big, 256 units high makes them look huge, I had to scale them down 25%.
That means that our designers may have to turn their gripsnapping settings down from 64 to 32, but the power of eights (2,4,8,16,32,64) still works, so it won't be a problem.

Would you be able to maintain an example cell, where you've modded different configurations with your tileset, so that when you're finished working on your tileset the example cell can serve as a practical guide for others in our team who wish to mod Imperial castle interiors?

thanks for the kind responses.
Just wanted to make a quick report on what I'm working on right now:
Stairs and a doorframe.
The door I will use is a standard Bethesda door. I'll also make door frames for the doors I made for my exterior set, otherwise it would look wierd.
Instead of making a single stair model like in Morrowind, I have once again decided to split it into smaller pieces. First I need to make 4 base models as making a single stair would either look stupid or cause some clipping issues with other models. So I'll make 4 base models.
After that, I'll cut all 4 bases into 5 seperate pieces (Two side walls, steps, ramp and ceiling)
By doing this I can make sure that designers can make steps as wide or narrow as they want them to, they can also decied to make it a ramp instead of using steps.
I'll do a spiral stair later, but it will spin clockwise instead of counterclockwise (like in Morrowind). The reason is that counterclockwise is historicly inaccurate. Almost all spiral stairs go clockwise, defensive purposes.

I know this is probably asking a lot, but will it be possible to mod court halls as technically lavish as Oblivion's? I.e. with staircases to raised levels inside the main room and so forth. That would be really cool

Yeah that's possible, I'm gonna have to do some technical thinking before I start working on those. But I think it should be possible, and compatible with the stairs I'm almost done with.
