Seyda Neen (Including Firemoth) - EnnJ - 10-20-2005
Ok everyone, here are my plans for Seyda Neen.
First of all I plan to expand it a lot and make it into a port city, look at this map and you will see how I mean.
Map of Seyda Neen
As Dagoth Ur have been defeated Morrowind is now a more peaceful place to live in and when many people travel over-sea they will need a port.
The original port in Seyda Neen was to small and very unaccessable but time have passed and Seyda Neen have expanded into a medium sized Port-City (or town).
Seyda Neen will be a peaceful town but they will have some large problems to, I dont really want to tell exactly what yet, but there will be some large trouble, trust me.
And the surrounding areas will now be more dense with trees as the new engine allows it, and it will also be a lot "swampier" than in Morrowind.
As for Fargoth, My plans so far is pretty much secret, but there will be something funny, trust me.
This is what I have so far, but you will get more information later on and hopefully Seyda Neen will be a town that most people like, even if it lies in a foggy and dark swamp.
EDIT, I forget to mention, The red line will be the new port and the blue line will be how big Seyda Neen will be. =)
[UPDATED]
The Graveyard
I've been running around Seyda Neen and the surroundings and have found a good spot for the graveyard.
The spot I've chosen is near the dirt path which you can take to get to Odai River which you then can follow up north to Balmora. This is due north of Seyda Neen, not too close and not to far away.
Here!
Close to the Guy in TES3 who's used the Scrolls of whatever which fortifies your acrobatics by 1000. For those who have no idea who I'm talking about
This guy!
[UPDATED]
I've decided to cut the "MQ" for Seyda Neen as Seyda Neen is just a small village and there's is no need for a epic dungeon quest like this. The Census and Excise office quests along with a few in-town quests will probably be enough to make Seyda Neen interesting. ( Note that I'm going to do more minor quests than I would have done if I had to do the Necromancer quests).
There will still be a dungeon with a necromancer in it but there will probably not be a long questline like I previously planned, possibly one quest or two but nothing more.
Second, I'm going to work a little on how Seyda Neen is going to look like. Check back in a few days and I'm sure I have been able to come up with something.

one suggestion... the light house was supposed to be the "Grand Pharos".... I saw a little dilapidated lighthouse in TES3... so in TES4... make it grand... but as grand as a miniature port gets... ok? :goodjob:

Sure, I believe I saw a lighthouse from OB in one of the screens which looks good enough, otherwise someone in our team may be able to make a good looking lighthouse I can use.

I think that word should be placed on expanding Seyda Neen.
I mean, look at it's size! It's small, realy small.

Seyda Neen wont be much bigger, But alt least it will be bigger than in TES3

How bigger and in what sense, if you don't mind?

He posted a concept map of the boundaries of the town in his first post. It looks like that the city might become around twice as big, with an actual dock incorperated in.
