Ah, lovely solution. :goodjob:
With the textures so nicley layed out on top like that editing them in photoshop is easy.
Well, here is the next map! Don't get to worried about the growing stack, if RW feels the urge to get going before your done we can just have some alphas with grey buildings in them .

Ok, the last few tiles have been layed out... almost. I did the bottom row too, which will look smashing with shadow detail.
Here's a preview. There's two texture maps in that pic, and a skylight with no shadow detail. Even without the shadow detail it looks ok.
Now then, I have a question. Each peice here is a different color. The textures items are done, but the different colored peices are what I am really pointing at here. Which of these, if any, should I texture? Is everything there generic, as in, we will use the same models there in the hut and other models?
If they are ALL generic, I can bake all textures for them in to one file. Otherwise, please tell me which of the peices are not generic and I will texture those objects right away. I will also bake their textures in to one of the two textures we have for the barracks currently.

Although the shape of most of the entryways are going to be the same across the buildings, I did map them intependantly so we could have some textural variety between them, in case things got to generic. The red (the steps) could probably have a uniform texture for all the buildings, and the green will hardley matter since that is going to be pure black anyway (just like all of the caps behind other doors in OB).

Ok, I'll map them in with the rest of the model then. Expect the final textures up in about an hour...
- Zarf - 05-26-2006
Forget that hour.
Here's the barracks with the final maps applied to them. I decided not to map the entryway yet, as Caligula woulod probably do a better job of that anyway. Click the thumbnail for a larger view.
Once I get feedback on this, and fix it to within RW's liking, I'll release the actual texture maps and the mesh, since several parts were remapped.

Still can't say I'm a fan of that really dullish color. Try getting it closer to the TES3 one.

Well I think it looks nice. IMO we should at least have textures for all of the buildings before we get too picky. Good work Zarf! :goodjob:

The model is coming along awesomely (Im definetely impressed) but I have to agree, try to make it more sandy, leaning toward yellow rather then gray

Come to think of it, I agree. Try these on for size. I used the orriginal maps from Morrowind to try to help me get the right colors here, but I'm afraid they are just a tad too brown. Color adjusting just isn't one of my strong points for some reason.
