Dungeon: Unnamed Ebony Mine
Minor questline. The PC is sent to investigate the mine to see why it's
not producing. But the PC has a problem. The PC has lost the entry to
the mine. The guards there won't let the PC in unless the pass is
presented. The PC will have to either: find the lost pass, steal the
pass from an owner, or kill one of the oweners for it. The lost pass
may be discovered from the Thieves guild or Dark Brotherhood. But
either one will lead to another quest. But when the PC gets the pass,
that is where the fun begins. It will deal with a demonic device, the
problem is that the devices power is elsewhere. The PC will be sent on
another quest to discover the power question

I don't think there are any ebony deposits in Cyrodiil, since I can't
find any ebony veins containers in the Construction Set. So I imagine
you'd want new models for this location? Or perhaps I misunderstood.

Well, we'll probably need new models of Ebony despoits anyway and since
I can't model I'd would welcome to see what you can think of my friend!

Sure, I'd be happy to. We'd want them to be functioning containers though, and that... I can't do.
But if you can recruit a modder who knows his way around the NifSkope
procedure, and can hack for instance the silver vein mesh, I could
model it and export it as .obj and send to him or her. We'd need
textures too, but perhaps Morrowind Visual Pack (or any of the other Mw
texture packs I have) will suffice as texture source for the moment?
Then again if you get a modder who knows NifSkope there's the
possibility of using normal maps, so it'd help to have a texture artist
who can both create color and normal maps for the ebony vein mesh. What
do you think?

I think it is a great idea! We're going to need other models as well
for mining and the one who does it will have a good idea of what we'll
need. I think the models already made for the glass mines will help us
out alot!
