Blacklight Silgrad Tower Combined v1 |
|
Yes, I've finally gotten around to releasing a combined version of the two. The link is:
http://users.sisna.com/cquinn/mods/blacklightsilgradr1.rar
I've used the last release of Silgrad and combined it with the most
recent work I've done on Blacklight. Only problem is for the next two
days I'm not able to test it so I'll need your opinions on it. It's
only the combined mod, no extra models or anything else besides the
.esp file. The only thing I've done to the Silgrad part was remove
rocks and fix the borders for the road between the two.
Let me know what you think!

I also forgot that I removed the invisible barrier and added some extra
road signs up to the crossing of Reich Parkeep and Silgrad Crossroads.
When I get finished with work today I'm going to try a test myself for
the road between Cormaris View to Reich Parkeep to see if it works
properly. I had to do a lot of changes with the pathway there.
With everyone who gives some input on the combination I'll release
combined versions with the additions to Blacklight and the rest of the
Northern areas!

Good news! No more 4m height difference between the two areas.
Keep up the great work!

Looks cool. You heard what they're doing with BlackLight in TR Rodan?

Well, whatever they're doing, let them have their fun. My city will still outshine them anyway!

As far as I know, they bulldozered it and are making a Hlaalu town.
Which is odd, because I was sure the area was meant to be Redoran
controlled. Still, Cormaris View is Hlaalu isn't it.....
I need to talk to one of you guys on I'm sometimes - ever since ST left
TR and did stuff on its own I keep getting confused about what your
Morrowind mod is doing. Apart from having a nicer team than TR anyway

Inferno, I'm asking you to come over to us. We're having a lot more fun
over here and you would be a great person to mod here. I think that
joining one of the teams here would give you a lot better relaxation
than what is over at TR at the moment.

^^ What he said
It'd be great to have you here Inferno_str1ke, and whichever of our
Oblivion teams interest you the most I'm sure all of them still have
plenty of opportunities for more involved positions. Is that something
you would be interested in? Modders with experience in team modding who
can get their head around how a setup like we have works are very
valuable, I think. Can't just throw a major claim like that to a newbie
who's just picked up Oblivion from the store
Oh, and Rodan, Inferno_str1ke - I've updated your registration date and
post count from your activity on the old forum now. I can't understand
why it took me so long, but better late than never I guess

Hi... very impressive Work
I played Morrowind since it was released and tryed many Mods. And Silgarth und Blacklight are in my opinion two of the best.
But now I encounter a little bug. When I use Silgarth and Blacklight
together (with the blacklight esp from this threat here), I got all
NPCs on the Mainland (not in Morrowind itself) doubled.
Their are 2 Faugrims, all NPCs in Ebbedin are doubled...same with every
other NPC on the Mainland except random encounters like Traverlers or
Ruffians or Monsters.
If I switch of Blacklight everthing is fine, only whe I have the BlacklicghtCombind Mod Active this Bug ocures.

Istari: Thanks for your kind words
Doubling bugs like the ones you describe can happen if you play with
one version of a mod, then install a new version of it can continue
playing the same game. It's because the save game stores information
about NPCs and other things that are encountered while playing the mod,
and the game treats it like there's two separate things. If you've
already started playing with a version of the mod then it can be
difficult to upgrade to a newer one without having to start a new game.
I'm not saying I'm 100% sure that that's what happening on your end,
but it sounds to me like it could be.

Istari:
Another reason that everything is double could be that you are running
multiple .esp's at once. I haven't played TES:III in a while so I never
downloaded this particular version of BL/ST. Did the .rar file contain
one or two .esp's? If it is one, then when you activate that, you
should deactivate your previous ST .esp. If there are two (one for BL
and one for ST) then do the same thing, activate the new ST plugin and
deactivate the old.
Hopefully you can get everything worked out without creating a character. I know it's a pain to do so.

^^ Oh yeah. That sounds more plausible, given the situation.

I noticed it also, it is not only necromancy, but in this case it is
talking about blacklight for TES3, and the post does not even make
sense. I said something about it in another thread he posted in
Please stop, it clogs up the boards with long-dormant threads that are not relevant, and push down threads of actual importance
