Well, here is an update
- Work continues on Bar-Citha, putting down landscaping, trees, rocks, and other decorations.
- Begun work on stables, haven't thought of a name yet.
- World space divided into three regions, Blacklight, Cormaris View,
and Skyrim border. Weather patterns also decided (move further west and
the less chance of seeing clear weather and more of a chance of seeing
snow).
- Vistaview docks started.

Cool man, keep it up.
Do you have any kind of map of the region? there is a house redoran
quest planned that will involve a small scout ship somewhere along the
coast up there, not right near the skyrim border but a little further
south down the gulf past blacklight. |

Thanks anything that helps with visualisation is great.
Its still only in planning stages but you can read more about it in the redoran quest thread.
To sum it up, a redoran operative has spotted a small nord ship
somehwere along the nothern coast part (perhaps evenshore fishing
village, or the lighthouse) and the player is told to follow the coast
around futher east and south (which means theyll get to check out your
cool coastal areas), where they will find it moored in a fairly
isolated area, perhaps for repairs.
Depending on what is decided for the rest of the questline its purpose is either
1) Simply a recon ship sent to gather intel on the coastal cities and
their defences (as one of the large nordic tribes is attacking redoran).
2) A ship sent to collect secret hlaalu funding to help with the tribes imminent attack on redoran.
In either case the player destroys the crew on board and learns extremely valuable intel.

Evenshore would be a good place to use.

Ok good. I dont know if the player will actually be asked to visit
evenshore as they may be told 'the ship would have gotten to at least
point x by now so start there and work your way around'.
Its still a ways off implementation but if you can think of any nice
little hidden landing point along the coast (one that the nord captain
would look at the coast and think 'this spot will be safe for a little
while') that would be great. |
