Finally gotten my head together again and have started working on the west wall of Blacklight. I've already known that I can't bring it back to the octagon shape of the Morrowind version (since it goes to the eastern shore now) but will do it for the NW and NE areas of the city. When the walls are finished, I'll start smoothing out the land and put basic building structures. Except for the Docks area (which covers the bay) and the eastern shore, the whole interior of the city will have different worldspaces and a sewer system excluding the Dock section. The canal which will go around a part of the Dock section will have grates leading from the city and maybe an entrance.

Even though the main Morrowind map does not show it, the southern border of the land Blacklight is in will be mountains. That way it would be impassable (would actually lead to nowhere). There will be a couple of gateway tunnels, one leading to Silgrad and one leading to Skyrim. There is a catch of course. The one leading to Silgrad is manned by Imperial soldiers and the one to Skyrim has been conquered by Nords. Both are underground fortresses.

As well there is now a worldspace barrier. Beyond the gates there will be sea travel, to Windhelm, Ebbedin, Silgrad, and Vvardenfell. (Probably a seperate .esp file).

Well, I'm going back to that western wall. Keep modding! Wink

Sea travel to silgrad, is that possible? Perhaps sea travel to Steadhelm.

From the map we've got on the site, it looks like Silgrad Tower isn't directly on the coast, although it does have a nearby river.

It is perfectly plausible that there could be a small port on the river that connects to Silgrad, though I have no idea if there are plans to mod anything like that.

The idea of an underground passage is pretty cool though.

I'm not really that familiar with Blacklight, which is a shame, cause it looks like a cool project

Good luck and good modding!

I've now gotten a couple more cells worked on. Hitting a little of a problem whether to extend the western wall one cell westward and then moving north from there. Blacklight is a major city in Morrowind and one of the most important Imperial cities there. Just like to know your thoughts.
