What is Kedal?

Pronunciation - Kuh-doll

Kedal is a Dark Elve community that lies beneath Soluthis. They have a very dark past and few dare to venture far beneath Soluthis to reach it. Spell bound by a dark wizard, they are forbidden to leave their town and have never seen daylight for over 1,000 years. They are under constant siege of the Guardians of the Dark Oasis of which the Dark Wizard has broken open the portal to. Out of this, the Kedalins have become some of the best wizards and smiths that anybody has ever known. Some have found this secret underground city, but few have returned to tell of it.

Note - When pronouncing names the syllables are pronounced at a constant rate.

Styrkai - stir-ky
Kzyrtia - kiz-er-tee-ah

and this is where one could make use of the idea of black skinned dark elves. I mean really black, not the grayish-blue normal dark elves are.

Or you could make the point that these Dark Elves as cavedwellers are not so "dark", like the weird blind fish found in some caverns. OTOH, it is Steinaech's playgraound after all.

In the first stage of this mod I was going with that. The first couple NPC's I made had super bright skin. But I decided to go with the dark pissed off look as seen by this guy

Note that this picture has nothing to do with this version of Kedal. This picture was taken from a TC that I began work on.

Yeah, things in caves where there is no sun often become pale, even white, but I think it would be cooler to have them dark. A better reason for that would be if they were daedra worshippers with dark magic. Even better would be for them to be half dremora.

Due to attacks from the Guardians of the Dark Oasis they have become amazing Wizards. If I'm correct in my thinking, are the Daedra not supreme Wizards?

That picture is a Guardian of Kedal. Its just a Lich set to 10x scale until I have something else to use, though the Guardians of the Dark Oasis are Lich's too.

It's not the names, it's just hard to regulate air flow from the gut to pronounce them. My throat would probably bleed trying to say that.

Its not hard to say them. Maybe in a dunmer voice though. Here is a recording of how to say Kznstykyntzadchen then if you can, post a recording of you saying it in a Dunmer voice, and let me know if your throat starts bleeding

OK, done. That long one is way weird, but the last 2 are actually quite say-able. The problem is that you can't allow any voice variations, something quite hard with Dunmer voices as it is.

If executed correctly this mod will be amazing since it screams Drow, and we all know that fantasy players adore the Drow.
