I've been trying to work around your stated positions on the Dark Oasis Staenaech as I feel that you have more Brew there than you have yet revealed ...

Wow this is confusing! Aren't quests supposed to be manageably simple, yet offer deep insight into the lore of the world of oblivion? Just remember, success isn't measured by the amount of minds boggled.

I haven't followed this thread that closely, but is all this organized out somewhere? Cause all I see is garbled paragraphs full of things that may/may not be lore correct. I personally suggest the organization and tweaking of the story so that someone doesn't have to read every page of this thread, as well as follow every link, to understand what's going on.

I find that complicated quests are nice, adds a nice bit of variety. :D Quests with multiple endings depending on what the player has done or what the player will do, etc...

Setting quests up in a chart like this might or might not help.

Yeah, I've also found that I like quests that have that "something untold" feel to them since that forces players to actually think about what they're doing.

Howdy

Thanks for the helpful suggestions

We're really not talking about quests yet. I think more we need to get some more info from Steinach's brain on the story behind these peoples and develope a history for them

Enjoy
Bob

I think a nice flow chart or timeline would be nice to organize it. A backstory can be deep without making ur brain hurt, remember. I do think that it can be a nice complicated quest that adds quite a bit of lore, just try not to make it unmanageable. And truely the test of that will be whether people (like me I guess) who haven't been reading the history books will be able to get any of this. Hopefully the answer will be yes, while still leaving an awe-inspiring, deep, and complex quest.

Flow charts R us... I can do that !

Really though, we really to get the history in place and Steinaech's input (this is his baby) Raggid and I have been attempting to incorporate this project somehow into the Cerro Vampires Quest, but its Steinach's call. Just giving suggestions for ways to possibly do it.

Once we get a good history I think the rest will fall in place pretty nicely

Enjoy
Bob
