Welcome to TES 4 Senaria, a mod project for Oblivion.
As the player, you find yourself ship-wrecked on a far off and
mysterious continent. Badly wounded from being washed overboard during
a terrible storm, you receive aid from a nearby village. When you have
recovered though, war forces the villagers to flee there homes. They
seek a hero, you are that hero. You will lead them on an epic quest
across the continent and into the massive mountains of the south where
they can be safe and start a new life-- for the mountains are far to
rugged for any kingdom to conquer. From there you will help them build
a city and construct a new society. You will be forced to deal in
diplomacy with neighboring leaders as the small new city state rises in
power, and sometimes, you will be forced to take up the sword and
defend your home. The choices you make will directly impact the
development of the town; lead honestly and other refugees will seek
shelter behind you walls, but if you are underhanded your once fair
city will become a haven for all forms of scum. Of course you will be
able to explore the vast continent and all its beautiful and diverse
terrain. You can journey to other cities, join unique factions, do
miscellaneous quests, and anything else one would expect from an ES
game.
I know I'm getting into the modding game late compared to other large
mod projects, but I plan to utilize modders resources on a level not
yet done before by a large project. There is a wealth of untapped
resources out there for Oblivion, and a much large ammount of Morrowind
resources that by raising the poly count a bit and putting on some nice
textures, will be on par with Oblivion content. Take it from someone
who has led a large mod project, one of the things that slows a project
down is waiting on the completion of new models.
This project is all about fun on the part of the modders and getting
the general community involved as much as possible, I will attempt to
give people as much free-reign to be creative as possible; at the same
time delivering a top-notch mod that puts Beth's work to shame But the
reason we are here is to have fun and do what we love, while being a
part of a great group of people. I hope to nurture a friendly, casual
atmosphere on our forums (thanks for the hosting Silgrad
), at the same time working efficiently and steadily on a project that
will try things in new ways, and introduce an exciting, colorful, world
with an epic adventure for the player to take part in. |

Sounds really cool! I really hope this gets completed.
I take it this mod is about building somethong cool, and not in any way concerned about lore?

I was thinking, and because this continent has almost no contact with
Cyrodiil, would the money you have be useless? Or have a exchange rate?
So the money you have would be useless or half value or something like
that.

Hmm, interesting idea-- if possible I'd like to do it... I think though
that money is hardcoded into the game engine, so I doubt its possible
to use an alternate form of currency. |

Yes now we are kinda looking into concepts to further more make more
cities just like Tinash for my mod and trying to make lore-correct or
close to lore. So if you need me to do some interiors or exteriors. I
will do. I like to do homes by the way and I am good with AI. |
