I'm attacking the Senaria Heightmap. I'm going to try and get it done
before Christmas, as I don't want us to be stuck like at Skyrim where
we still don't have a Heightmap. Senaria will occupy an area of 6x6
quads. There will be no borders, rather, just infinite ocean like in
Morrowind. So far I have the outline of the land down in the top 2x2
quads of the map. |

Hey Sieg, be carefull here, it's a very tricky business. Make sure your
Heightmap is centered or else LOD wont work properly, and on the topic
of size 6x6 is as far as you can go, good luck
You might like to try out Geocontrol, very good HM making program.

I might just need to use geocontrol, if it will let me avoid the
corruption that the CS causes in my heightmap. Last night I did a map,
it was pretty good and I was quite proud of it. I loaded up this
morning and the land around the mountains I had done was all distorted
and geometric. |

I've been having serious problems with the HM, any raised terrain when
I save the file, and reload, the height of raised terrain is distorted,
spiking and dissappearing in places. I'm either going to need an
exterior program that can get around these glitches, or somebody else
is going to need to handle our heightmap... |
