We need to set up a system of progression for Senarian armor. In Oblivion, the progression went like this:
Heavy:
-Iron
-Steel
-Blades
-Dwarven
-Orcish
-Ebony
-Daedric
Light:
-Fur
-Leather
-Chain
-Mithril
-Elven
-Glass
So for Senaria, we'll remove all the exclusively Tamrielic Armors from the progression:
Heavy:
-Iron
-Steel
-???
-???
-???
-Daedric
Light:
-Fur
-Leather
-Chain
-???
-???
-???
In each Class of Armor, we have 3 left over, and we need 3 new ones.
That's where I need people to start pitching out ideas. We can likely
use a few from PJ's Armor Resource Mods--I'm thinking Scalemail and
Composite, but we'll also want some sets modelled from scratch.
These of course are only the "universally used armors", suits that are
used and available in all Kingdoms of Senaria. There will be many MANY
more armor sets used beyond these, but they will be more exclusively
used, and only available in and around the Kingdom that produces them. |

Hmmmm how about some light type Wolven tribal armor? kinda like what the Khajiit wear * LINK
* it wouldn't be limited to Wolven only, but MAYBE we could give it a
Morrowind Ordinator Armor type script? difference here is if your a non
wolven wearing the armor and talk to a wolven you get attacked/bounty
on your head,UNLESS we make a quest that lets you become ''initiated''
and allowed to wear the armor without hassle.

Man. Shadow, you really like the wolven, don't you? That's an awesome
idea though. Maybe if you've done the initiation quest, and are wearing
a full set of armor, you could have a werewolf power or something.
So, just to make sure I understand, what's happening is that there are
going to be these six 'base' armors that are fairly simple to acquire.
But there will be others that are only available in certain areas that
will fit in at various places on the totem pole. Correct me if I'm
wrong please.
Since the Armugians used to rule the whole continent, what if one of
the common heavy armor types was old armugian legionary(since they're
modeled on the Romans) armor. Not the newer stuff, you could only find
that near Armugia, but older armor that the legionaries wore during
their dominance of the continent.

Sure Shadow, since we're gonna have racial armors so to speak, that's fine.
@Kanryo:
Basically yes, we'll have 6 core light armors and 6 core heavy armors
that can be found universally, they might not necessarily be "common",
but they will still be found universally, and will be much more
frequently found than a non-core armor of the same calibur.
Sure, we can have some old legionaire armor or something

No werewolf transformation or anything, these aren't werewolves,
they're wolfmen. Perhaps though we can have "moon stones" or something,
that are produced the Ygarkheutsch (proper name of the wolven), and
when the moon is full it gives the wearer an attribute boost. |

Or how about some attribute boosts AND a bigger size (setscale command),much faster to... and the ability to summon a wolf?

Maybe, maybe not, as a weapon set sure, but I don't know how well it would work as an armor? Any concepts out there?

Obsidian would be a very dark black, and really shiny. I have Fable for
the PC, but I don't feel like installing it and playing until I can get
obsidian armor unless I have to, so tell me if you need me to.
Some screens of other obsidian armor:
1
2
3
I like the size/weight feel of the first one, but it isn't shiny enough. Obsidian would look best as a really
dark black and shiny armor, without all the silver in the first one.
The second and third have a good look, but they feel too "light" to
look at and aren't black enough. Obsidian would look cool to be very
black no matter what light it was in. The gloves on the second screen
really exemplify what I'm talking about.
But that's just me.

Yes those are good. I like the first but yes it must be shiny to actually be Obsidian.

Obsidian is often a very dark green as well as black, so you could incorporate that into the colour scheme.

Obsidian Axe
I know it's not an armor set, but it's cool none the less.
