I've seen on the internet that a team of Russian moders are constructing a Skyrim mod as well and it looks nearly completed. I have been told that it is the same mod as yours but k don't see how. Can someone explain this to me. Oh and if any of you know I would like to find out where I can download the Russian Skyrim and compare it with Skyrim for Oblivion. Good job! Oh and congratulations: Skyrim for Oblivion is looking absolutely amazing!!!

I know this Skyrim project.If I'm right,this project is add Skyrim for the Total Tamriel plugin.Isn't too unique..

Skyrim for Oblivion is so much better,but thats my own idea.

WHAT VANILLA MODELS? All architecture is unique. Recompiled game engine Can Realise normal transformation from Man to werewolf, and our not big budget, makes avaliable to add mocap animations and verisimilar navigation. Also we add some new effects, hundreds of quests and mainquest counted for month of gameplay. We already made most part of mod, (we are 2.5 years old) and now we are working on a crafting model.
What can you see in gallery?
Upper left album here you can see screens of generated lands , old version of Riften (this version was declined by admins and new version you can see on Geleopagot's screens)
Middle upper album Whiterun screens. Here are screens of only one district of the city, other wil be shown in February.
Upper right Hrotangar village
Lower left pirate village situated to the west from Solitude.

So I dont want to have competition between project we have our own objectives and you have yours. So its not write to compare projects. And If you are interested I can tel you about our mod, but I have no right to rate Yours.

looks sweet man. the "valley of the falmer" pic in particular caught my attention. imo any sort of competition is not healthy (esp if it is based solely in patriotism), so I wish best of luck to both mods :)

random question, is it possible to use foreign language mods in an english oblivion?

I just looked at the screenshots. I have to congratulate you and your team on the work you've put in. The quality is superb - can't wait to get a chance to play your mod when it's released! If you don't mind me asking, how much of Skyrim are you planning to make? Will it be the whole province, or are you concentrating on a specific area?

We are making the whole province and trying to do it in lore limits, but some of TES features was changed to more classic ones, becouse the main objective is to tell player dramatic story about heroes, love, friendship, self-sacrifice and death.

And someone asked for Winterhold... I can show some concepts of it

Wow, your story sounds epic, and very suitable for the culture of Skyrim too! It's good to see another mod that puts story first as well.

I agree with Senten about getting your work better known on the English-speaking forums - have you considered starting a work in progress thread on the official Bethesda Oblivion Mod forum? It's probably the quickest way to get people aware of your work. :)

So how will the player get to Skyrim? Is it going to be in a new worldspace or will it be added on to the landmass of Cyrodiil? And is it set during Oblivion or afterwards?

eventhough I am not a part of this team, I would really wanna see some co-operation..

I want to make a chunk of skyrim myself , but since I can only model it will take awhile to learn all the CS stuff..

Sorry, but models is our main feature, and we don't want to show them before release...
But we also have a big archive of textures and we can provide some help with scripts)

As far as cooperation is concerned, anything beyond exchanging assets I think would prove counterproductive due to language barriers and differing goals of the projects. I know you mentioned before that you wanted to keep your models to yourselves, but if it changes anything we have some rather nice models of our we would be willing to exchange (though I don't have the final say in that).

Naturally my friend, I used to have a working copy of speed tree, I generated several new sets of trees for Skyrim if I remember correctly.

Frankly though if I made a leaf texture, it might just look worse than what is already there. I'm a terrible texturer.

I've run into some errors with trees myself in the past, but all the ones we've used for Skyrim have worked just fine.

Blast, that's bad luck.

Senten: if you're up for making new leaves that would be great, its a norwegian spruce so something along these lines would be useful.
