Here's a new battle piece free for use. I thought it was a bit short
but then I realized that most of the battle music in Oblivion is only a
minute long. I guess battles don't last much longer than that anyway.

Lovely jubbly!
Need more powerfull start maybe and it kinda sounds like boss battle, not for regular ones.
How did you record it?

It was made using some sample libraries with a mouse and MIDI
controller, not actually recorded. As far as a boss battle, I guess
that's up to the devs.

Really? Awesome! Any other software you used? It sounds so "real".

I'm glad to hear that because it helps me justify the amount of cash I laid down for it
The sequencer I use is Cakewalk Sonar 5 Producer Edition. All the
sounds are from East West Quantum Leap libraries including Symphony
Orchestra Gold, Symphonic Choirs, and Stormdrum.

That was really great, I'm very impressed with your abilities as a composer
I have never heard music that sounded so real (besides when it was real)
That just got me to thinking of when you said you might be interested
in composing a song for my lego video. I'm almost done and still can't
find a good battle song for it.
If you're still interested then please let me know so I can find some way of showing you what I have done (if that would help)
Once again, your music is sounding really great!

Heh. We should use this in the next video to showcase ST. It would work great! I like this kind of music.

This would be cool to use in the skyrim for oblivion trailer but that won't be for a while I don't think.

Oh just realised I have'nt posted, eventhough I've listened to the song several times. As allways you amaze me
it's awesome!!!
And whats cool is that I use the same sample library as you, they're so
sweet!! Personally I think they're worth every penny, and you also get
a lot of extremely difficult to remember title to go with it!!!
Only my setup has some serious trouble dealing with the amounts of
memory it needs, I often need to make several mixdowns to avoid running
out of memory.
I like that they're recorded with (literally) a lot of "room", since
95% of the time when doing orchestral stuff I want that real sound of a
concert hall anyway.
Anyway, as allways: Good stuff man!!!
It'll be a great addition to Skyrim!! I'm confident our musics will fit very well together in the snow!!
