The beautiful was a salon for artist origally who ment that Summerset had to let go of the past to move forward, the Beautiful is now a revolutionary gang who wish to destroy monuments of the Altmer civilazation. they tryd to destroy the Crystal tower but failed. They now turn their attention to the living symbols of summerset, the royalty

I think it would be cool for them to coincide with the Mythic Dawn and open gates around summerset, not part of the MQ though just an affiliation to the mthic dawn. They would still be part of the MQ just in a differnt way.

Well a lot of MQ factions end up being there just to forward the story and not be joinable. It'd be cool to join a terrorist organization, and actually affect the world. Even if it might not work with bethesda's lore, it'd still be cool.

Non joinable is sense as they are a crackpot cult, so joining them leads the player nowhere... = players who want to go nowhere do not need help to get there...

The idea of them being affiliated to Dagon (Daedra of Destruction and catastrophy is fine) and therefore they might be aware separately of what is happening with opening the Gates and copycat!

The worship of all Daedric rather than Daedra is an important point. Reason being that the Alt Mer appreciate culture, artifacts etc (esp, but not only their own) - they might be jaded in that way...
