yeah I bet there are countrysides... beautiful but not without Altmer meddling... they'd make groves and orchards and set woods clear of underbrush etc..... plus let it get too wild and the legendary beasts that had lived within might reappear.... the Altmer would make their countrysides perfect... in their own way.... also they'd be a lot of farms... probably worked by Goblins or poorer Altmer?

Rural, yes

The local farms and villages within a radius limit should be controlled by the nearest major city, the larger the city the more area they control, outside of that, the other farms and villages shouldnt be controlled and be allowed to conduct their business without interference

Hmmm......it seems I lead to this threads creation.

Well what I ment by no rural is that there would be no Lower Class buildings, no really grungy sort of villages(prehaps small fishing villages on some small Isles). And that about every spec of Sumerset would have elvish ruins, and that cities built straight over old buildings and that large areas of Cities would just be ruins. There is evidence to support this from the new pocket guide. Also most of the "wilderness" would probably be tended to by gardeners(woodlandparks).

Edit: To a remark made earlier in this thread about goblins being used for labour, they no longer do that and it is frowned upon(Taboo). The goblins(and orcs) where released many(many) years ago, though like in Tribunal some Altrmer still enslave them.

well there ARE Altmer workers and laborers... they'd have farms... but not like shoddy shack but nice clean barns with good woood-work and a few goblin farm-hands perhaps if the Altmer can afford to have a few trained for his farm...

you are entitled to your opinion.... I say goblins, orcs, argonians, nagas, and dreugh are better... but that's mme... I learn more for beastial and natural native types... not highly cultured and caste types... but that's just me I guess
