POSSIBLE--- Nightmare Aberration.

The Abberattions are strange creatures, akin to undead. They are ''sewn'' together, though not quite, of various body parts and tissues of dead bodies. Due to this, their skin is combinations of human, mer, and beast flesh. Due to large Gaps in the Skin, muscles and arteries have overgrown to large proportions, making them seem as though they have tentacles coming from their body. Their motivation is unknown, but it is easy to see that they are devoid of personality or sentient thought.

The swamp abberattion is a footsoldier who was stuck in the poisonous waters of the swamp and over time changed to a 9 ft tall super abberattion. Few pieces of its armor are still on its body, its left arm has been completely replaced by muscle and arteries, making it obsessively large. There is no known way to kill this horrible beast.

The Abberattion Footsoldier

This is the lifeblood of the Abberattion army, taking up about 12/15 of it.
they are made to be mass produced and as of that are often unalike in appearance, merely being speedily thrown together.

Appearance
---------------
These creatures are made from sewing together the corpses of fallen enemies and large animals. Since most of the population of the Island is dunmer, most of the Footsoldiers have predominatly grey skin, with pieces of animal scale and fur used to fill in the blank spots. Sometimes if a Footsoldier survives enough battles or its skin begins to rot its flesh will start to decay and turn a sickly pale

To keep their shambled bodies together, the Footsoldiers nerves and muscles have grown to abnormal proportions, often breaking through holes in the flesh and resembling more along the line of tentacles than body-parts. If a large part of the Footsoldier is cut away or falls off, nerve and muscle tissue will grow to fill that spot and keep the creature from losing to much time off the field of battle. This gives them a very limited regeneration ability, but the nerve is in no way as strong as the old flesh and bone, meaning creatures who's legs or arms have been replaced are often sent off the battlefield to work in the facility or be unassembled, and used to make new abberattions.

Their armor, like them, is made to be mass-produced and is crude in its make. Though the backbone of Footsoldier armor is a steel plate style armor that just covers the front part of the body, back, and neck , anything sturdy is applicable for abberrattion use. You will often see older Footsoldiers wearing black elven or leather boots or chest pieces that they have taken from fallen enemies.

Personality and Battle Tactics

These creatures have been robbed of their free-will and do tasks with amazing straight-forwardness. Though they are great at accomplishing the task set before them, they are unable to invent and change without at first witnessing or being taught how.

The Abberattions all originate from the Facility and are made only for battle. Thus there whole social structure is centered on combat prowess. Anything not able to fight is pointless and is left to die or work

The footsoldier is the middle of the chain and is the majority of what the facility produces.

In battle these creatures fight according to what kind of footsoldier they are
1. Flesh
The crude nickname given to the larger footsoldiers by Valneera troops. These abberattion are covered in layers of muscle and nerve, which often is sticking out of the extra-thick layer of flesh covering it. The added muscles and tendons makes them outrageously strong but slow due to restricted movement in their legs. They are often given a large Berserker Sword, Axe or Warhammer and wear the maximum amount of armor

2.Grunt
This is the nickname of the common footsoldier, about dunmer in size and stature. There is nothing extraodinary about these soldiers and they are just there to do one thing, kill. They are usually given a crude metal rod, Berserker Sword, or a spined blade with a shield or another spined blade. They often wear sets of steel crude plate with a few pieces missing, or replaced with other armors.

3. Widowmaker
The nickname given to the abberattion that have survived multiple battles and slain scores of dunmer. To survive they have cannibilized corpses of fallen enemy and ally alike resulting in its body being able to withstand a multitude of blows as you strike through multiple layers of newer flesh. They often use Crude Scythes or Arm Blades, but sometimes have been seen with some of the more common weapons. They wear armor on their legs and armors to protect important joints. Protection of the other parts is trivial since hardened flesh and bone separate the enemy and the creatures vulnerable insides.

The Abberattion Hunter

Appearance
---------------
This creature is built around the same guidelines as other Abberattions, with notable differences

They are a lot slimmer then most Abberattion and are missing the large tentacle tendons that the Footsoldiers sport.
Also the Arms and legs have been lengthened to increase speed and maneuverability.
Their hands have been replace by a large metal hook on one arm and a claw with metal fingers on the other. This allows the hunter to travel great distances by swinging easily on the swamp trees. They wear no-to-little armor, just enough to protect vital points, allowing them to keep mobility. Their eye sockets are often filled with, not mortal eyes, but the eyes of creatures of the swamp, giving it the ability to see in the dark, and often bright, blood, red eyes.

Without much armor or extra skin and muscle they aren't as durable as many of the abberattions, but they are EXTREMELY fast, so actually hitting them is a feat in itself.

Society and Battle-Tactics

These creatures, higher up then the Footsoldiers, are the berserkers of the Abberattion army. Charging into battle after the footsoldiers, these creatures turn into a storm of flailing, slicing, clawing. Moving with unparalleled grace and speed, they jump from enemy to enemy, digging through armor and flesh like it was paper.

Often these creatures are sent into the swamp to hunt down Valneeran Ranger Patrols, racing through the swamp til they get to their target. The few Rangers that survive these attacks tell how these creatures would come from the darkness, strike, and descend back into the shadows, attacking again and again from completely different directions.

These creatures also serve another purpose. Fear. With their long slender bodies, red eyes, and rusted metal appendages, they strike fear into the populace of Valneera. Often they are sent into Valneera to steal and ruin provisions, kidnap children, and commit random killings to shake up the moral of the dunmer.

The Spore Abberattion

This Abberattion is actually a Worker Abberattion, but after being exposed to the chemicals and other entities of the Facility, the poison has rendered it unable to work, and has been all gathered in a large sore on its back.

Since this creature can't work, or be cannabalized for more parts due to being decayed and rotten, it is sent out as a Kamikaze unit in large siege battles.

They will run at top speed, then lunge forward, propelling them towards their target. Upon impact the gases and chemicals in its spore will mix and cause a chemical reaction. An Explosion.

The explosion covers about a 15 foot range, with poisonous fallout occuring for the next 30 feet. This works perfectly for the Abberattions, because the small amount of fallout is harmless to them, but critical to the Valneera

Abberattion Mutations/Experiments

The facility as you know is used to make the Abberattion armies. Of course it started out just making footsoldiers, but eventually the leader decided something different. And he didn't just automatically get the War, Goliath, and other variants.

The experiments are Abberattions put together for the sake of just improving upon already made design or making a new design.

If the Goliath's legs would snap off, then an Abberattion would be made with the legs of a Goliath to test new ways to make them. A goliaths body would not be wasted though. This results in many Experiments have mismatching body parts, or missing ones entirely.

Many experiments are made trying to make new forms of Abberattions. Everything from small dog-like beasts or huge centipede creatures for siege combat. This doesn't always work correctly. This results in creatures unable to follow commands, attacking anything that comes near it.

Though it is rare, a few Abberattion Experiments will cannabalize a corpse of parts, attaching them to itself, making itself bigger and bigger, til it is a living glob of contorted parts and organs.


Mutations are creatures that were maybe exposed to too many chemicals, accidently had an extra limb attached, grew a new appendage, or even was in a waste pit of useless abberattion pieces and formed a whole being out of all of them. These further abominations of nature are horrible to look at, and are often harmful even to touch.

These creatures, if sane enough, are sometimes sent to battle with the standard infantry, just so they will be killed and not have to be dealt with, or left in the facility for further experiments, working, or to guard the hallways of the workings.

Abberattion Goliath

The Abberation Goliath shares more characteristics with animals then man or mer. It is about 10-14 feet tall (sorry no metric) when standing, and 8-10 feet when walking.

Its body is made up like a footsoldiers, with patches of flesh sewn together and enlarged tendons hanging out, though the amount of tendons and muscles has vastly increased.

Unlike a footsoldier though, its arms are massive, and the forearm is made completely of bone, because of this, its forearms are capable of inflicting tremendous amounts of enviromental damage, bashing fortress walls, tearing trees from their roots. The hands are composed of one thumb and two fingers.

Its legs are small compared to the size of its arms, resulting in it walking on its knuckles akin to a gorilla. Though this isn't a very good mode of transportation, it doesnt bother the Goliath a bit in battle, where it stands on its legs while swinging its gigantic arms about, crushing opposing forces.

Its head is usually shaped like that of a dog, with the jaw elongated. Often you can hear its eery battle-howl miles away.


Because of its size, it takes a lot of resources to make. Meaning that it is much rarer than the standard footsoldier. It is often sent as a leader of an infantry group, though its intelligence is lacking.

War Abberation

This beast is feared throughout all of Valneera. Wielding its massive steel weapons in one hand, a War abberattion can kill dozens of men in one stroke. Walking slowly across the battlefield, they leave a trail of destruction in their wake.

Hag Abberattion

Even though still retaining the looks of the women they are made from, these creatures are considered one of the most disturbing and inhuman things to come from the facility.

No one know why all women used in the facility are turned into hags, but they are never seen transformed into footsoldiers or any other of the abberattion variants. Also, they are changed very little, their looks almost identical to those of their former life. Their hands are modified, with metal claws and knifes replacing their fingers; their eyes are taken out, leaving gaping black holes. Finally, they are wrapped in old, rotten bandage, ranging from bandage just covering weak joints or injuries, or even almost the whole body.

Due to their shocking similarity to dead Valneeran women, the hags crush Valneeran moral, reducing soldiers to weeping fools. They are capable of taking the form of the woman they are made from through mysterious means and are able to still retain their place in society, as if nothing had happened. Many a brave soldier has been lost by coming home to his love, and being shredded by uncaring claws.


Besides crippling morale, these creatures are perfect assassins and ambushers. Being barely changed from their human form, they retain their full flexibility and joint movement unlike most abberattions, and it is actually improved after the process. Their senses improved 3 fold, they no longer need their sight and it is almost impossible to go unseen by one.
