Thras- Unique Ayleid Armour |
|
As requested by TOYB, I'll be making a unique Ayleid cuirass, and a helmet for Thras (it could
be used somewhere else too, but because it's unique, it may be best for
Thras and other BC mods who may be interested, to use the armour very
sparingly so it remains fairly unique).
Below link is what I'll be working from for the cuirass, thanks to TOYB
for providing that. I will get some screenshots of the almost done
cuirass soon. I'll be UV texturing it, and TOYB will be providing the
textures.
The helmet will follow shortly.
Concept.
Any ideas or thoughts of the design, let me know now while I modeling it.

The confusion is understood, and I agree on the concept. It's very nicely done.

I might want to use them for Valenwood as well, considering it's the region the Ayleids retreated too
If that's ok of course.

Here's a screenshot, I haven't worked on it for about a week now
because of things I've had to do, but I intend to work on it tomorrow
(later today).
Obviously it's not finished, needs those things hanging from the side
(concept), and a few tweaks, the wings (those two things on the upper
bit of the cuirass) need to be bigger/stretched a bit. Then I'll start
on the helmet. It'll look a whole lot better textured and smoothed. |

Living Ayleids? Can we use them? We plan to add Ayleids as well, but
the more savage cousins of VW of course but they would be the same
race.

wait, are we using Tribal or Urban Ayleids? You're saying tatoos and
tribal stuff, but only the Urban Ayleids who lived in the ruins in
Cyrodiil wore metal armor. The Tribal Ayleids are pretty much like
Native American Elves.

The tatoos are because of devotion to Umaril, Meridia and Vathri (whom
I haven't detailed to all of you yet, but ties in with the new and
updated Merida's Realm plotline), and is specifc to their tribe/kingdom.
The Tribal Ayleids wouldn't really wear armour like this, or for that
matter the stock Ayleid armour, but they would most likely have
something like it for ceremonial purposes, or places of honour.
We will be using Urban Ayleids, however because they affiliate with
Meridia, and live in her realm, their customs will be differnt.
