Beth's world friends, they haven't screwed anything up.
That said, I stand by the theory that it is the Deadlands that you
visit, no one ever states that you visit mehrunes realm, and it's a
nice marriage of the Beth appologist view, and the lore statements.

However, before we move on to this, I think it's best that we start our
work on 1 to 3 realms at a time so we can focus our efforts on getting
projects completed rather than started and moving on to something else.
The planes are going to turn out great! You know, I think there was
once something about an island here. Or was it a lump of coral? It's
been so long, I can barely remember

Here's a cool thought I had for Dagon's Realm:
There is tons of information on the Dremora social structure and
culture, but you don't see much of it in the linear, isolated holds of
Vanilla. I'd love to see a system where there was some sort of large
area with 4 or 5 different Dremora holds, each with its own court and
army. They would each have some valuable item (a sigil stone?) that the
nobility of the other Dremora houses would go after. The AI scripts are
already there- we just have to set up the target and get the war
running smoothly. If we're feeling very ambitious, we could set up a
system to prioritize troops for attack and defense based on context-
possibly even occasional alliances between houses against others.
Beyond that, each hose could potentially be a faction you could join
and rise through- become initiated as an honorary Churl (certainly
through a dark and rigorous initiation test) and climb the ranks,
sacking the other houses for the glory of your Dremora master.
I'd love to see this kind of thing happen- it would give a definite
"flavor" and a reason to go back to a realm players have already
visited to the point of being sick of it. It looks like I'll be working
on Hircine in the future, but I'd gladly contribute to this plane as
well.

That's a bit lore breaking. Dremora despise the mortal races, hence why
every single one wants to kill you. You may however be able to
influence these Dremora groups to provoke them to attack each other,
making your job a little easier to take them out.
In one weapons mod, someone created a sigil stone staff, which may be a
cool reward. We already do have a staff reward planned for Meridia's
realm (although that one is some sort of torch I think) so two might
not be the best. After all, I'd like to be able to make use of as many
rewards at once as I can

That sounds pretty awesome! We'd need to tweak the Morrowind style a
bit to fit in with the new Oblivion Daedric style though. Otherwise,
that sounds pretty cool. We can make them have different effects and
you can pick which one you want. I'm hesitant to say that we should
enchant them for a warrior, mage, and thief though, mainly because a
mage or a thief wouldn't want to wear a heavy Daedric mask.

The color pretty much changes from Morrowind Daedric to Oblivion
Daedric. The Morrowind version was mostly black, which you can see
there, while Oblivion's is very red, looking a little rusty if the rust
looked pure evil. We'd need to change the style if we want it to match
with all the new Daedric, but keep it in the same general appearence.

No, they'll look the same, we just need to match the materials.
Nostalgic or not, it wouldn't look good on Oblivion daedric if we leave
it as it was.

Ha, I know what you're thinking, here comes the big bad lore guy
bossing us around. Anyhow, someone wanted me to draw a map of the
Deadlands for a Roleplay, so using the the typical lore-drenched
fashion, did.
It's shaped triangularly because it all points to Dagon, representing
his thirst for power. It's divided into the Desert of Rust and Wounds
(where Dagon wrote the Mysterium Xarxes) and the Forest of Birth and
Fire. The desert is full of shifting red-tinted sands, and surrounded
by the Mehruk Mountains. It is a basin, so the lava tide fill it
frequently. The forest is full of the twisted trees we all love, rooted
in burning soil. The cities I made up completely.

Wow, that is actually a very good map to work off of.
Dagon doesn't seem like much of a person to have towns in his realm, so
maybe they can be more of Bastions/Citadells/Fortresses, full of
hostile Dremoras and Xivilai (The intelligent Daedra who are fit to
have a fortress)
Those can be the homes of the conflicting Dremora clans, which the
player can manipulate maybe. They can have sigil stones if the player
ventures to the central towers of each fortress.
I've discovered how to do the burning forests. While experimenting with
applying shaders ingame, giving the trees the fire shader causes little
flame particles to dance all around the tree. If we can apply scripts
to all of these trees they can all have fire dancing through their
branches.
The Desert of Rust and Wounds, I like that idea. We can make it look
like a field of rusting metal, the kind that is just rust with no metal
left (ever see documentaries of sunken ships like the Titanic, which
now have rust growing like stalactites on the ceiling and along the
walls?) I can imagine these spires of rust growing over a rustic
landscape, like those termite mounds found in Africa and Australia, and
storms of rust blowing across the landscape. It will also be very
dangerous territory, hence the Blood in the title.
Thank You for your many wonderful contributions!
