Modelling: major set-back? |
|
would this be a major set-back?
I mean Valdyr, our main chitin man, gone...
Cryo_ doesn't have Ordinator anymore, or very unlikely...
and beginning to lose touch with other chitin folks...
and wasn't there a guy making some bonemold?
we need to keep in touch... so far the only sorta successful is cryonaut's nix-hound which is pretty good...
I am not really skilled in modeling nor very familiar, I need someone
who knows it well and can tell me how we can save the mod from this set
back. Cause we finally take a step (3d modeling) and now we are again
in a bad place.... |

I know some VERY basic stuff about modelling, nothing about UV maps or
anything like that, I doubt I'd be able to start a whole new set of
armour.
So... Where does that leave us? Remember, Silgrad is also in need of
these armours, and are using placeholders until we get something
better.

I know this may sound dumb.... but long ago I said to myself....
Silgrad has provided webspace and architecture, perhaps Vvardenfell
should repay them with weapons & armors and creatures... and sure
enough that is the path on which we are embarking on....
however recently there have been issues with that... unfortunately...
the most plausible worst-case scenario is that most chitin workers go inactive and Cryo_ can't find it
best case is chitin dudes still working on it and Cryo_ can find his Ordinator armor... yeah right
we need to prepare for the worst....
the need to revitalize the weapons and armor models making which seemed to be going so well last week...
so how do we go about that? In Silgrad's case they had very devoted and
quite skilled modelers before, like Caligula Superfly, Zarf, etc. and
Razorwing himself is pretty good... but in our team we are reliant on
skilled modelers who aren't that reliable except for cryonaut who is
busy, but dedicated |

it looks awesome!
BTW, Cryo_ got his armor back
I think we should get a permanent modoler to the team, an experienced one, maybe we should ask cryo_ to join the team officially

cryonaut IS a permantent loyal type... he IS on our team doing animals...
if Cryo_ is a permanent one then he'd do wonders in the armor department for sure...
he's even mentioned his willingness to do bonemold...
, however I think he was reluctant to join any one mod
grimdeath says he is unlikely to join us as a teammember but very willing to share his work
