TES4: Vvardenfell Master File and Assets

Assets & Master File: >Crying Required)

The Vvardenfell Master File for the mod, it is based upon and includes all of ST assets and will be updated regularly.

To install, extract/unzip the files from the downloads to your Oblivion data directory (usually Program Files-> Bethesda Softworks-> Oblivion-> Data Files). Overwrite if prompted. It is advised you set the Master File second in load order (after Oblivion.esm) to prevent any problems.

Merged to the VV.esm (only the relevant files are listed):

- M10 VvZk - BalmoraInteriors_v3.1
- M12 VvDv - BalmoraES32 v1.11

In order to update the VV assets download the ST Public Update 6.
The ST LOD files can be deleted (Meshes\Landscape\LOD and Textures\LandscapeLOD\Generated).

Install the VV LOD files after deleting the ST LOD files (see above).
Download the VV esm v1.10 (and higher versions) LOD files -=here=-.

Finally download the assets for the Ashland rocks -here-.
These rocks (ST moldcave) were retextured by Dave_91.

After you claimed an interior in Balmora you'll be contacted by Dave_91 or Zurke for the latest version of the assets.

The previous .esm + assets didn't include the LOD files to see the distant land to cut down the download size.

I've uploaded a new ESM: Vvardenfell.esm (v1.04)

This includes the same data as before with the following changes:

1. The 2x landscape has been replaced by the 1.5x landscape.

2. All TES3 NPCs have been added and those that resided in the exterior world have been placed back on the scaled up landscape. The NPCs have the prefix Vv in the ConstructionSet so should be easy to find.


The downloadable archive also includes the 1.5xPlacedContent as an ESP for useful reference, but obviously it will not form part of the final project.

With this version of the ESM, I hope people feel more free to blitz away at places and start building their areas as they see fit. We can do region generation (textures and placed content) at any stage during the project and merge it back in to the master easily enough.

Any problems downloading the file, let me know.
