it is said that Blight mutated some of Vvardenfell's creatures to a
poin where they became bigger, more aggressive, and gross looking....
so for you SciFi lover out there, we could make concept art for
blighted creatures?
I mean it would be cool... plus many Blighted beasts still hanging around even though the Blight itself is gone now...
good idea or not? ...its not necessary but
...would be a great addition if we have the "manpower" to make all the 3d models

I dont have the manpower yet, but what about my Molag Bal/vivec inspiration picture? Is that what you're talking about?

I was thinking more semi-supersized beast and mutated with more horns and gross blistered skin...
not a zombie alien thingy... actually... I had Half-Life 2 in mind when I posted this

well the bigger part shouldn't be a problem, for the defority however we would probably be limited to texture changes...

edit: and wouldn't most of the blight infested creatures be gone now? |
would they be gone? why?
though tormented they are powerfuller than most.... I don't intend there to be a high number... but a few here and there...

although I'd say mostly in Red Mt. an Molag Amur where they could find
ravines and environs to hide in and survive... poor tormented beasts...

heh, same here... only worried about the infection... but we've got
leveled creatures this time, we can make them always a challenge
and I don't think that having texture-only changes wil detract from the
ability to tell blighted creatures from normal ones... we just need
some discoloration, some black spots/wrinkles, some exposed flesh,
etc...

Any of you guys ever see Land of the Dead? The zombies started evolving
to the point where they could actually form some semblence of thought
and understanding instead of just being mindless monsters... maybe we
could go that route and say that in the 6 years since the blight storms
have ended, the remaining blighted creatures have started evolving to
the point of being able to hide from the blight hunters and stick
together for security... we could have hidden caves where blighted
people or creatures are hiding together... just a thought.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Makes me think of nemesis and Tryant from resident evil

is intriguing... but I don't think that would work in six years...
though you never know in a fantasy world.... but still... kinda
not-too-feasible.... a bit too "big" |

Well having them in hiding would be the only way for it to be feasable
for them to still be around though, don't you think? I mean in 6 years
you'd think the Armingers and whoever else would have already hunted
down and killed all the blighted beasts who are just wandering around
aimlessly in the open...

I think that there would be blighted beast still around in the more
remote areas of the Ashlands etc. Any that came near towns would
definitely have been killed in the six years, but there should still be
a few scattered, and they should definitely be uber. |

scattered in ashlands.... it is hard to track down gys in the
ashlands... probably only ashlanders and armigers could... also, Red
Mt. is still extremely dangerous and the armigers and Ordinators only
patrol the foot of the mt. to make sure blighted animals and corprus
beasts and sleepers and dreamers don't come out.... containment is a
hard thing when you have such as large area- its like finding a few
blighted beetles on Mt. Fuji, you won't find them.... |

Good points... will the Ghost Fence still be active to try to keep the
remaining blighted beasts from spreading out? Or will it's power have
dwindled to a close by then, or have been willingly shut down? Perhaps
the stations at the former ghost fence would be turned into blight
creature hunting headquarters, where the player can sign up and get
paid to hunt blighted creatures (like the blight bounties mod)?

the ghostfence was gona as soon as Dagoth Ur was permanently killed as it served its purpose....
perhaps Buoyant armigers will give you gold for every blighted skin or something... who knows...

Also, the Blight is in the Imperial Province. You can catch it from zombies.
