Full Version: How do I enable normal-mapping in 3D Studio Max?

I would like to know how I enable normal mapping in 3D Studio Max? So that I can see how the model looks like with Oblivion's normal mapping applied while I develop it. Does anyone happen to know how that's done?

Thanks man, it worked great! The info you linked to is for an old version of 3D Studio Max, but the snippet about "DirectX" and "Metal Bump" led me in the right direction and it panned out beautifully. I'd print the info (for others) but I figured I'd just attach the max scene instead.
